Awesome television. Amazing picture quality for the price. It smashes my LG 49"
The problems I did have were both firmware related when the TV was new (eg - ABC iView menu leaving a black box outline on the screen - this happened after a change in how FreeView menus operated.
Both faults were fixed within a month of informing the HiSense Help Line. Just be aware the firmware fixes did not appear on the TV by default. The HiSense Help people sent me emails with links to the latest firmware. As far as I'm aware all bugs are fixed now (they are on my TV anyway).
Best thing for me is I can plug in an SDcard straight from my DJI Drone and play back 4K video in full quality. My LG 'Smart TV' cannot playback these videos. I also find that the HiSense Series 6 streams direct from my phone much better than the LG, using SmartView or Chromecast.
I hope this helps someone decide on their XMas Bonus ;)

    • probably h.265 files

  • I've got the 42" and it's only a Max of 80hz true at 1080p and 4K is only 60. Tested with a camera. Any other pic setting other than dynamic is awful. Store mode looks heaps better than regular but it uses a lot more power.

  • I have the 50" P6. Seems much better than what you are saying. And to Impoze: > I only record H264

To npiet1: > Try calling their Australian support number. Ask (demand) the latest firmware for your TV model.
Actually, I will email you the link to the latest P6 Series firmware and instructions. BEWARE: Corfirm this is the latest firmware for your P6 Series TV. I will send in a private message.
