This any good as a sound system?
Bought one of these about 2 months ago for $625. Quite happy with it, though I think I would have preferred the JBL 3.1 soundbar with sub. Only have it in my bedroom about 3.2 x 3.2m. Overall a good unit for the price I paid, excellent for this price. Sub level can be changed seperate to the volume. Never need to put the volume up more than about 60 % as the sound will just rebound off the rear wall. Unfortunately , no that doesn't make it surround sound. As for the Atmos effect, hard to say as it is a small room and I play it loud,but I'm sure there is a small amount of overhead sound. I can't see how the speakers fire upwards for this to happen.
Links easily with my Panasonic GX800 and panasonic 4k player. Any questions, happy to help. At this price I would jump buy it. Though shop around,. Plenty of specials out there.
