damn no VESA? just bought the gas mount though…
edit: oh it'd be too heavy anyway

  • God dammit, bought this thursday from Umart!

Good thing I bought on 28 Degrees!

P.S good monitor for the price!

  • Had this for about 3 months now. It's massive.
    I like it.
Got Freesync and paired with an 8gb RX580 - can't freaking tell the difference LOL

Need your experts opinion guys. This or the LG 32QK500-W? Which one is better and why?

    • Same question here, seems $48 more for a better stand.

    • +1

The LG has 300 nits brightness according to Anadtech. This has 250 nits (according to the specifications on the ebay listing).

LG has VESA mount too, which this AOC lacks.

    • Seems to be practically the same, unless you need to mount it at some point or need different ports.

      Difference in I/O ports:
      LG: DP, mDP, 2x HDMI
      AOC: VGA, DVI, HDMI, DP

anyone found a good 27inch which they can recommend?

      ~$300 with ebay plus (AOC C27G1, 27" 144hz, 1440p, 1ms G2G, VA panel) https://tinyurl.com/wppdf8x
      ~$392 PITCH20 Brighter panel, better build quality, lighter (AOC C27G1, 27" 144hz, 1440p, 1ms G2G, TN panel) https://tinyurl.com/uz9s8oy

      • The AOC monitor isn't 1440p, the description says it's only 1080p.

  • Any 4k monitor suggestions? Using for my Xbox one X. Do I need to worry about HDR?

    • just get a tv

      55" 4k for $369

      https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/500696

    • Need a bit more detail :) Size, Prize range, use case etc.

Otherwise a quick googling shows some recommendations; https://themicro3d.com/best-monitor-for-xbox-one-x/

Personally I use an OLED TV for my xbox-x.

      • Which tv is it? Use case is 4k blu ray movies/tv shows, competitive games + single playergames, price range is 500-800. Screen size would be 27-32inches

        • SONY A8F OLED for the lounge and LG OLED B7 for the bedroom. As a bonus it doubles up as my home theatre setup too.

Oh for goodness sake. Open your eyes and look at the price, then open your mouth. Sheesh. I'm tired of seeing your kind's comments.

  • Good monitor and good deal. I paid about $20 more for mine and was very happy.

  • Same price via futu_online… Both located in Alexandria… same warehouse/people?
