Recently launched LG Optimus Black is $0 a month on the $25 value plan from Crazy Johns. Plus get additional 1gb/month for life of contract online only. Really good ultra thin phone, with 1Ghz processor, 5mp camera, and 4 inch capacitive screen. On Froyo 2.2 but upgradeable to 2.3 later on in the year.

Plan includes (per month):
$200 Talk and Text (99c/min, 40c flagfall, 28c sms)
Unlimited calls to Vodafone, 3 and crazy johns
400mb data + 1gb = 1.4gb/month

      vodafone network. network is variable depending on where you live. urban areas are usually much better.

    LG Site said 1GB but CJ said 2GB.

    So, 1.4GB of data (1GB Bonus + 400mb standard) - can I just install the skype app and call landlines in aus for abous 2c a minute (like I can on my PC?). $200 calls (at 99c/min) is a little to close to the line for me! (currently on $29 - $150 vodafone prepaid, hardly ever use it in less than a month, but sometimes I am close!).

    PLEASE HELP ME!!

    Done research online and it seems to depend on the carrier!
