  Considering Gen 4 went a few months ago at Fossil stores in clearance for about $270, struggling to see how this is a solid buy.

    Factoring cashback in thats twice the price at clearance ? I fail to see how the are comparable especially if you are only after an entry level fashionable smartwatch.

      Gen 3 should be at that price.

      Gen 2 misses out on a lot. LCD and not AMOLED screen, flat tire which no WearOS watch has had for three years now, lower resolution screen with smaller PPI, no rotating crown and two extra buttons, no ambient light sensor. And that's just compared to Gen 3. I won't even start on Gen 4 differences.

      All I'm saying is that it's a poor use of cash. Ticwatch S or E first gen would be a better buy and historically that's been around the $160-180 mark new at times.
