One S for sure, I use mine most weeks for 4k movies and also has vlc player on it

    • +1

I would go for the xbox as well. You get software updates and can also get added functionality from the apps you can install from the store. Quick look I think shows it supports Dolby Atmos - https://www.dolby.com/us/en/apps/access/pc-xbox.html

  • Ended up purchasing the 420 as a second player for around $50 more, already have the 820.

Tbh not 100% on the differences when I purchased…. 420 has smart features that I won't use.

  • 420 much better

  • +2

    420 is $199 @ Bing Lee ebay.

  • Blu-rays going out of fashion fast. I can’t remember the last time I turned on my blu-ray player

    • How do you watch your 4k HDR movies with Atmos?

      • 4K + Atmos Netflix when supported titles are available.

    • I've to agree on that unless you really like a movie and you wanna keep it available as you wish without having to deal with buffering, no internet available, etc.
Other than that, Netflix, YouTube, now Disney+ all of them have pretty good 4K HDR content with Atmos.
Nowadays, you just need to have a premium TV + a fast and stable internet service.
