    Just a note my version 4 AOMEI Backup Pro expired, so the keys may expire down the track and revert back to trial mode.

      They do indeed expire. The last "FREE" key stopped working after about four month, reverting to trial mode. As far as I can tell, this "FREE" key is just a longer trial.

    Used the offer last week to back up Windows 10 before updating to 1909. Issue # 1 was Windows having a problem that I had hidden Microsoft update versions of Dell drivers (I get my driver updates direct from Dell so they should be right). Anyway, I unhid the updates and did something I always try to avoid - drivers were updated via Windows update. This is where the story fizzes out. The updates all worked. However, having a reliable backup was insurance.

    After that everything worked without a problem.

    I don't know why, when I created a disk image of a Dell Win10 machine previously, 1 of the partitions was missing and the new drive was un-bootable.

    DiskGenius and Ghost were working fine, after wasted 2 hours on AOMEI.
