    • The price is in the title. Did you mean anything else?

    • Valuable contribution.

    • dont forget 1% from SB and CR .

      • dont apply when using coupon codes…

        • Hahaha, no one picked up I was actually helping/hinting to OP as they forgot to put a $ before the price lol

  • Grab the smart rice box if you can and if it's not much more.

    • It's here for $94.52 after the coupon.

      • Description of this rice cooker can keep your rice warm upto 24hrs after the rice is cooked? What the.. only 24 hours?

        • You wouldn't want to keep it any longer for food safety reasons. Warm and wet is a breeding ground for bacteria.

            not just for bacteria…

    • What's the real difference? I looked on the website and all I can see is that it has a ceramic bowl. Cheapest price I saw on previous deals was $94 and it's the same price currently on Myer eBay with coupon.

Is it really worth 33% more though? $23 buys a lot of rice to cook.

      • Some people argue it's better. I've got the original and can't see much difference, either.

  • How much better is this compared to those basic $30 cookers ?

    • That's what I was going to ask too…

How are these ones that look like breadmakers better than say these ones?

I have used the basic ones for many years. The main difference I see is that the basic ones (in my usage) spilled some water/vapour all around the cooker, but this one does not.

I noticed a change in consistency when doing a big batch. The stuff at the bottom isn’t slightly overcooked in this compared to my smaller “cheap” rice cooker of the same brand.

I’m happy with this model. I’m far from an expert on rice though.

  • Bought 2 years ago for $59.25 at DJs online. Think that was lowest price.
    Great device!

  • Am I missing something? Shows $87.20 here and not $71.20. Did they increase the price?

    • yes

    • Yep, looks like ol' Price Jack has been up to his tricks again. It was $89 earlier, now it's showing as $109. Cheeky!
