Description does not say what type of connector comes with it? Is it POL?
If it's the same as a Coleman FyreKnight stove, it should come with an attachment for a propane cylinder or a hose for a 3/8 BSP LH cylinder. You can buy an adaptor to turn the hose into a POL fitting.
It has a POL hose but I’m fairly certain you can use propane cylinders as well.
I'm thinking it's BOM. It can use the coleman gas bottles. But then again On colemans website there are people using a full size gas bottle.

I have had both and I found this one a lot easier to keep clean than the weber.

I got one from Kmart for $99 on black friday sale and thinking to buy this and return kmart one, as kmart one doesnt have a Stand.
Kmart grill is more like weber babyq. any advise?If you want an oven - keep the Weber clone, if you want an efficient hotplate - the Coleman YMMV
I can't speak for the K-Mart one, but the hot plate setup on the Colemen one looks very average.

Technically, you can, in the same you could use petrol and newspaper. But it's definitely not advisable, as it's actually a gas burner.

It's good if you need one, I guess between having an old school camping stove I wouldn't bother with the extra weight and cost associated with this. If you are setting up to stay somewhere a while then maybe, or if you don't already have some alternative.
On a side note, 'road trips' don't really require cooking, you can't go 100km without seeing multiple food outlets these days.

Epping had about 3 left in store when I got mine last night. Man this thing is great. Comes with a large hot plate on one side and a small grill on the other. Not dual grills like the picture. Plates are solid and well constructed. I cooked dinner on mine last night and it worked a treat! Absolutely worth the $99!

I picked up a new standard 3.7kg LPG gas bottle from from bunnings for about $50. The hose that comes in the bbq box fits a standard bottle. They had some cheap cooking tools there too, so all up my new bbq experience cost me about $160. Im very happy.

@JohnyEnglish: You have to buy into the gas bottle exchange program initially. Costs more to begin with because they include the price of the actual cylinder. But once you run out of gas, you take the bottle back to them and exchange it for a new one for only $20 every time in the future.

n00B question here as I never have a bbq before. Do you normally "Clean" the bbq up before you use or you can just use it straight away ?
You'll want to season the hotplates before you use it first as well as run the burners for about half hour to help burn off anything that may have been left from the factory. You don't want to cook that into your meat.

They are cancelling the orders with no explanation so I called them and they mistakenly told me that they had stock but the order is marked as cancelled due to no stock.
Looks like it was a pricing error as they now have them up for $199. They have asked me to reorder and they will refund me the $100 after it is shipped to bring it back down to this price.
Very bad customer service from Anaconda and looks like a scam by them to get more web traffic.
