Terms & Conditions

During promotions where Sydney Tools is offering a bonus store credit, the credit may be limited to selected brands. The bonus credit can not be used to purchase a Sydney Tools gift card. The bonus credit cannot be taken off the qualifying invoice. The credit must be used within 24 hours from the time of purchase. Trade Night minimum spend for orders made online to qualify for bonus store credit is $250 (excluding shipping costs).

Bonus credit cannot be accumulated or used for special order or non-stock items. Items with a discount code, or clearance items are excluded from accumulating bonus credit.

If multiple promotions are active at the same time, only one promotional offer can be claimed (ie discount codes, bonus items or bonus store credit).

If you request a price match for an item on promotion (with bonus credit or bonus products), our staff reserve the right to provide you either a price match for the item or the item on promotion. You cannot receive both.

  Just a few quick pointers with their credit system to highlight
  The credit must be used within 24 hours, it's attached to your account, so you need to create an account, purchase, then log back into that account to receive the credit.
  The credit amount doesn't seem to work with the $99 free delivery amount, eg a $100 item you use $100 store credit for won't provide free delivery.

    Thanks for that, I didn't actually see that, yeah pack it up, pretty much every decent brand to use the credit on is excluded.

  Sydney Tools are dodgy as. Like this SMS I received from them a while ago. I thought great I'll grab that Dewalt sander I was after. It took a while to work out that there wasn't a 20% off but you had to spend $500 to get a $100 credit that had to be used within 24 hours.

  Unless there is an exceptional deal I avoid Sydney Tools, their dodgy marketing department and management should all be fired.

  better off at Total Tools VIP night last week which had similar bonus 20% credit but not limiting like this

  Sydney Tools sales and promotions are never genuine.

  They regularly send out emails for "one day only sales" at a specific branch. I fell for it once and went for a visit. In store prices were marked up higher than their web prices. They lie and tell you the jacked price is a special sale price and when you bring up the lower online price they spin it to say that the online price is the special sale price. In the end they offered a $20 discount on a 30kg saw that I'm buying in person instead of them having to ship for free.

  Just dishonest and misleading at every step.

  If you've ever wondered how they can afford to have 20 sales guys in every store, well their job is to rip you off.
