  • Whereabouts is the 10% off coupon code? You might have forgotten to include it in your deal post.

    • Hello, its being updated now. You can call 02 8007 6301 to enroll, and mention WEBPROMO to get the discount.

      • Okay thanks. There is a text box for coupons when you post a deal, I filled that in for you now.

I assume the end price is $495? As the price displayed is $550 (minus 10 percent)

        • Thank you

        • Yes correct, but I dont want people calling up expecting 10% off $495. Its 10% off $550

          • @Andrew Nguyen: That should not happen. On Ozbargain, the price in the title should always be the final price after discounts are applied. Feel free to edit the deal if you want to clarify your 'before and after' price.

    I hope they teach ethics

  • whats the difference between this course and what is offered at tafe?

    $475

And can fully buy online, no need to call (why would you want to call for an online course anyway?!)

    • Because we also provide career pathways, we try to understand our student's career needs. To see if we can help them beyond "the qualification".

      • +3

        Ah, upselling other courses!

        • Actually, there really isn't an 'upsale'. It more about finding out where the student is located, what their goals are. And to see if we can even match them to a company that is looking to hire.

        career pathways

It's real estate sales. Check Seek, and make sure you have the personality and appearance to tackle the job.

You'd be better off getting the job first, then getting the licence. It's the person that sells the house, not the certificate back in their office.

        our student's career needs.

Well, in this instance, they need to sell real estate? Simple really lol

        • It's the person that sells the house

More like it's the house that sells the house (location, location, location).

Never, ever bought a house cos of what some bull-shi**ing RE agent said.

          • @alidli:

Never, ever bought a house cos of what some b/shi**ing RE agent said.

If you despised them, would you still have bought the house? Or have you walked away from some due to the service from the REA?

            • +2

              @spackbace:

              despised them

Woah, that's a big judgemental jump- I don't despise anyone.

Being an RE agent takes up a lot of time and traveling around and you have to respect their efforts eg. working weekends, evening meetings, etc but you don't really need them.
I've sold three homes without any agents, more people should try it, can save yourself $$$$$$$$

And when buying, just do your research on the area's prices and stick to your offer price, if someone else pays thousands more cos they've let their emotions take over their logic, more fool them.

The job you do when your in-between jobs

    • Yes, a great way to earn additional income

  • 495$ and a computer is all it takes. Really shows in the field. Hate on that if you will, but it's proven by the tales anyone can tell about rental real estate agents.

  • Is this one course to satisfy both Vic & NSW licensing requirements?

    • Hello, NSW and VIC share the same regulatory body. I hope that helps.

  • +6

Unbelievable that in 2019 this is the minimum requirement necessary to advise people on the single biggest investment they will ever make, with no recourse to sue for misinformation or simply bad advice,as opposed to Financial Planners who have to jump through hoops, what with ongoing exams and rigorous maintenance of client registers etc.

    • Hello, yes. I've just sent you a private message with more info.

  • +1

Just searched online, there are many online courses start from $299.
Does that mean if I get this certificate will be able to post ad on realestate.com.au to sell properties?

    • I've seen those courses too, no need to pay $400 or $500.

Not sure about your 2nd point, but you would need to get listings first.

      • it seems only agents can post on realestate.com.au

  • When you complete this course, it does not guarantee you to get job in real estate.
Unless you have friends who can put you in or your family owns real estate company

    • As with any educational qualification, it does not guarantee you a job. We do have pathway programs, where we can introduce you to real estate companies we know who are looking for staff. You can spend time with the company, and if there is a match. They will offer you a job.
