I noticed from earlier this week that all Youtube clips have unskippable Ads ?
Is everyone else experiencing the same ? Has something changed since ?
Prior this week, I get to skip every Ads with the button at right bottom corner but not anymore.
Time for paying YT Premium subscription ?

I run adblock AND a pihole on my main PC at home and I still get a mixture of skip-able and non-skip-able ads on youtube
What is more annoying is the "Now, just a word for this weeks sponsor… AWESOME KINGDOM KNIGHTS DRAGON AGE…"

Are you referring to ads that are part of the video? Can't help that but you can always skip ahead.
I have adBlock and never get ads from youtube.
No, I’m talking about the YouTube ads before and during videos. I use adblocker and a pihole and still get the ads.
It seems to be better than normal YouTube, because on my phone through 4G, off my wifi network, YouTube is unbearable with sometimes 2 or 3 unskipable ads before the video starts.
Turns out my Adblock stopped working
Restarted browser and it's fine now, as before
Indian You tube premium is around $3 a month.. its worth it in my opinion.
I've had Indian YouTube for over a year now, I reckon. It's so worth the ~$3 a month.
Forgive my ignorance - what apart from no ads do you get? Does it present different from an adblocker?
The ability to play in the background on mobile is a premium feature I use a lot.

Have you checked out NewPipe? It lets you background stream or download music from youtube and its free.
Downloading videos - music, movies, dramas etc. that are on YT, also reduces data usage if you download big videos/playlists before going out.
All this can be done with vanced and newpipe, for free.
what apart from no ads do you get (with Youtube premium)?
I subscribe to (Australian) Youtube Premium primarily to support content creators. They won't get anything from Youtube if you block the ads.
Most of the stuff I watch is from private individuals (like Steve1989MREInfo who 'reviews' Army ready-to-eat meals) and I began to feel really bad & guilty about being a freeloader and watching content in which they had put in so much personal effort.
I mean, this wasn't some giant Hollywood studio I was ripping off … it was Steve!!!
Fair enough - but why not just patreon those you really like?

With Youtube Premium, the hard decision is taken out of my hands. They'll get whatever Youtube pays them.
Also, I'm bad with procrastination & it's likely I'll keep on putting off the Patreon payment & never make it. With Youtube Premium, the payment process is automated.
I started off by turning off my adblocker on Youtube, but I find having to sit through ads to be totally unbearable.
Shout out to Steve1989MREInfo, I like his vids too.
I don't feel guilty about watching his videos as an example because he seems to really enjoy doing it. He's basically documenting a hobby that already exists whether it's filmed or not, and the production is very inexpensive and simple to create.
Though personally I think it's better to support creators via their patreons.
You get literally nothing you can't otherwise get for free. It's a legitimate scan.
It supports the content creators while removing ads, instead of removing the ads and the creators getting nothing for their efforts.

I'm getting sick of being forced to sit through this crap… I just want to quickly check but then forced to sit through some crap.
Same now with News, such as on Flipboard… where your eyes are commencing to read the first line, but the page is jostling about reformatting itself for all the ads. Give me a break!

Maybe you happened to watched videos which come from channels chose not to allow skippable ads on their videos.
Go to your browsers extension store and install uBlock Origin.
