Blue only, might be worth mentioning, plus the specs in your link are for the non-5G version, which is fairly different.

    Good price!

    • Which would line up better to the price.
Given their history for customer support, it doesnt sound like you would get your money back any time if it was the 4G…

I just need to bite my tongue and wait, its only a few months until all the new flagships will be getting 5G and i know im going to want them, so it would be a bit of a waste of time just to play with 5G earlier. Ive waited this long, might as well wait a few more months :(

    • The huge difference being that the 5G model isn't dual sim.

      • The 4G version is also slower and has a smaller battery.

hi, saw you post and somehow bought redmi note 8t blue from this website, paid by paypal and i received so many fishing email, got a txt message from 0458729725 trying to fish my personal info, amazon login attempt fail, i mean, is this website safe?
    very weird!!!

    • I've purchased several phones from here without a problem. Many others too, seems weird indeed..

    • That link doesn't work buddy. I would suggest double-checking the device you purchased with for any malware or similar. Wouldn't hurt to change your passwords if you're worried.

Benson, why are you using multiple accounts?

      • What do you mean?
Clearly different, one user has 20678, the other is just 2067.

That price almost makes me want to stop chasing the Mi9 for the IR blaster.

Use code cart3 instead for a bigger discount. Might want to update price.

  • Feels it's too good to be true. It's even about AUD750 in China. I won't risk on it.

Purchased from these guys before. Their prices are good and if you’re lucky to receive a product that isn’t faulty then that’s great. However, if you ever receive something faulty or in my case DOA, they will try everything in their power to scam you hard. They will make it seem like they’re trying to help you at first and let you send back the product for “tech assessment” but even if it is legitimately faulty they will pretend that it is not faulty and shamelessly slam you with fees you return the faulty unit back to you or fees to restock the item. It’s absolute bull the lengths that they go to to fabricate the legitimacy of their “tech assessment”. I had to even get PayPal involved and raised a dispute and claim against them which thankfully ended in my favour. Good luck if you do purchase from these guys, I know I never will be, ever again.

    • Sounds like my latest run in with 'new' egg.

  • That is really good price or a SD855 phone. For reference, BG is about 550 before tax and delivery and JB is 699.

The spam issue can be resolve with a separate email and $2 sim…

My only concern is Xiaomi is dropping price for this phone a such an alarming rate that I suspect there may be problem with the device.

    • Not really concerned about price drop - I got the mi mix 2 exactly a year ago, it retailed for $800 at launch and was $400 when I bought it.

    • My only concern is Xiaomi is dropping price for this phone a such an alarming rate that I suspect there may be problem with the device.

This video might educate you on why.

Why does Xiaomi limit its profits to 5%?

It's a very educational video and explains that razor thin margins (or even losses) is part of Xiaomi's strategy.

If there was a problem with the device it will lead to more warranty headaches, so cutting the price to sell even more of them would be a bad idea. And it will also damage the brand. No one would want to risk that.

The real reason their prices get cut so fast? Watch the video. In short, they are a services company. They're trying to sell devices cheap to get you into the ecosystem where they can sell you stuff later. The same way Amazon is willing to lose money on a lot of products in order to make more money off you later.

  • Wow, prices are really coming down.

  • If you ever receive your product…. took a month to get a refund from tobydeals on an amazfit GTS that was supposedly in stock. Make sure you pay by paypal so you can lodge a dispute if needed >( .

Bought my one plus 7 from Toby deals, came within a week so no issues with this seller for me.

  • Would i receive before xmas if i buy now?

    • Probably not, though mine took about 5 days once shipped. Christmas time is usually much slower

  • Looks like no headphone jack.
