So this price is a historic low? (Excluding those Educational prices that most of us can't get).

Really considering this. Mostly happy with my Note8 but a few things piss me off.

  • Someone said Amazon had a deal coming for this! now im weighing up should i buy it or….

    • A cheaper deal than this, or this deal?

  • Camelcamelcamel says lowest was $1443 with Amazon so excluding the targeted epp and affiliate Samsung offers this is an all time low so I jumped on it :) plus with the cash back from shopback it's even cheaper

    Would office works price beat?

Thinking about buying this phone but there have been lots of rumors regarding its network ref to
    issue.https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/481235
    \https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/Note10/Note-10-Plus-Signal-Signal-Issues/td-p/815987

Are there any one who is also experiencing similar issue?

    • Damn that looks bad, I read the ozb thread and American one. I live in the bottom of a slope and I get low 4G signal on a op7 pro. Definitely giving it a miss especially if it struggles doing the most basic function that a phone is.

I wonder if the lower end note 10 has the same issue ?

      • My friend in Brisbane(Toowoomba) is also facing similar issues he recently switched to note10+ and isn't getting any 4G signal at all. Only 3G But when he puts the sim in his old phone OnePlus 6 gets 4G.

      • Think I'll give it a miss. Get very bad reception here and if it gets any worse I won't have any signal.

Sounds like I'll wait for the Note 11 with 20 cameras on the back :)

  • Hoping for another note 10 deal. Missed them last time.
My s8+ is on its last legs.

    • Yes my s8+ is crashing and freezing and battery drains quick or cuts out at 30%. Just out of warranty of course. Bought this one because I couldn't wait longer for a better deal

      • Plz share your experiences regarding its network issues.

  • Why isn't this getting more up-votes for an historical low (non-EPP) and potential OW price-beat?

    • I am surprised about that too. When I set the camelcamelcamel alert it said $1443 was previous all the time low so I wasn't expecting a price like this until after the s11 launch next year.

Amazon has just lowered the price of the Samsung Galaxy S10+ 512GB Hybrid SIM (SM-G975FCKGXSA) to $1299 as well.

  • The 512GB OP linked is the S10 not Note10 Plus.

  • Are Amazon grey imports

    • No they're local stock

      • I read that Amazon au seller is grey import. Read it on a finder com au article. Do you have any other info you can share?

        • It says in clear text that it is 'Made for Australia' and has a 2 year manufacturer warranty. My understanding was that grey imports only had 1 year.

Note 10+ still on special, but the price for S10+ has shot back up to $1569.

          • @Fouler: I have read that text, and seen the warranty information. But my question was based around the concerns I have for Samsung Australias warranty rejection scenario that I faced with a previous grey import phone. Does Samsung list non grey import vendors somewhere? I can't locate this info, hence why I was asking.

        • +1

Definitely not grey import, these are direct from Amazon Australia and have full Samsung warranty as well as trs etc. Have purchased Amazon Australia Samsung phones before all unbranded unlocked Australian stock the same as you would get direct from Samsung Australia.

  • I just did an OW pricebeat (over the phone for C&C) for $1177.24

    • Do you think they would o it in store as well?

      • It was difficult on the phone. They want to match part numbers and the Amazon listing doesn't have it. I persisted, only referring to it being an identical model and to a part number listed in the Q&A section. In retrospect I shouldn't have bothered, too much effort really (I was at the end of a shift at work and happy to be doing some life admin on my lappy while having this phone call on the side).

In-store would probably be similar; depends on the person you get, how nice you are, and how lucky you get. If you're not prepared to drive around to a few stores to try your luck, then it's unlikely to happen. My opinion; wait for Boxing Day/New Year sales.

  • Looks to have just expired

    • I just saw im devo! 😭
