Edit: Confirmed to also include WA and NT despite T&C's stating QLD only.

      • Nothin in SA :(

    • +1

      QLD WANT!

  • just checked the app, it's the same in WA. looks like i'm eatin nugs for lunch and dinner.

    • C'mon man you can do it in one hit, be strong!

    • +4

i check the apps in WA.. there is no 30 nug - $10… on.my apps… is it targeted?

      • +2

I can't find it either. It may not be active yet or not available to WA.

      • WA, nothing for me too.. That's sad

    • same, just cant find it anywhere.

well not news to us as WAer, we never get any love.

    • Not seeing it either for WA

    • -2

it was there for me under colonel's offers in the app, but now after checking again it's gone. bummer!

  • +2

    NSW?

  • +5

This will only be QLD and maybe WA + NT. This question gets asked every time these deals are up - in QLD KFC is owned by Collins Foods group (who also have Sizzler + Taco Bell).

    Lunch for me is sorted!

  • KFC nuggets are the bomb

  • +2

the mushiest nugs i ever had in my mouth, but for 10$ why not

    • Yeah KFC straight up has the shittiest nugs but it's good value at least. Soft and pulpy and no crunch to the batter.

      • +1

Yes thats true there is no crunch, but the taste of original recipe in each nugget is what makes it special.

  • -5

I can buy a bag of nugs for like $3.30 what is the appeal

    • 3.3? where

      • -7

Dood ALDI has 3 or 4 types, battered or crumbed I think.
These fast food joints have been ripping us off, repackaging a turdpatty, tomato, lettuce, bread and mayo for decades.

        • +2

          It's called c o n v e n i e n c e.

People are willing to pay more if they can get it quicker.

          • -4

@richadam: I get it, just profiteering annoys me.

            • +1

@smileyface: It's not profiteering. It's just a different target audience than yourself. I'm happy to pay someone $10 for 30 nuggets if it means I get it in less than the time is takes to buy them and cook them myself.

            • +2

@smileyface: LOL. I have no problem paying someone $6.50 so i don't have to spend my time cooking them or cleaning up a deep fryer.

            • +4

@smileyface: Yes, the staff should work for free, the product should be free, the landlord should let KFC rent the building for free, the utilities companies should let KFC use their services for free etc

              Bloody profiteering.

        • +1

That's assuming I have an oven.

Which I do, but that's assuming it's already preheated.

          Which it isn't.

    • +3

Buying something frozen and something ready to eat are two very different markets.

      • Yep, that's why it's called fast food. You're paying for the convenience factor.

    • Well, KFC nuggets are like 10x better than any frozen nugget at Aldi. I mean for me its less about convenience as I can just use the air fryer and come back in 10 mins and have fresh nuggets, but the taste of store bought nuggets just aren't as good as KFC.

  • +6

No love for VIC but these.. arn't good. big soggy

    • -7

      Sounds like you're soggy

  • +2

50% of time I bet I will get 28-29 nuggets. Happened to me few times with 24 nuggets

    • +8

Did you give back the extra ones?

      • Sorry, worded it worngly, I was referring to the previous 24 nuggets offers..I seem to always have less not more. Guess just my luck

        • I often get an extra KFC tender for free (way better than nuggets as well)

        • Then put in a complaint. I did that once when I didn't get the right amount (plus the service was lousy) and ended up with a free meal next time.

          • @steelpanther: It's almost impossible to check it in the spot with that amount.. Often just cbb to return for mere 1-2 less nuggets.. Probably gonna cost me more fuel.

            • @Lancerx: No you don't have to go back to the store. You can ring them up and then if no success you can contact KFC on the web site.

              • @steelpanther: Would they really buy it though? Even I feel dodgy saying that, even it's true. Lol

    • Can confirm just got 24 not 30

  • Anything for NSW?

    • NO NSW :'(

  • +2

Only 4 sauces for 30 nuggets? - Should be 6.

But I'm in SA, so no nugget deal for me

  • +1

    Christmas family lunch sorted

    • This week only, from 16th - 20th December

      • +1

Thats why god invented freezers and ovens

  • +1

Shame their sauces taste like crap now

    • i like the plummy babyq

    • I've always enjoyed supercharge sauce. I tend to mix sweet n sour and supercharge sauce when getting the nuggets.

    • Don't sleep on supercharge sauce, its very good with anything fried.

      • Why did they make it round though, it's crap for nuggets.

  • +1

So given the fact we (in WA at least) cannot see this deal via the APP should this post be edited?

    • I did check and it was available for a short time. Got taken away unfortunately for both WA and NT

  • +1

Mm nugz game is upped but sauce game on the other hand…..
4 sauces for 24 pieces, now 30 pieces still 4 sauces?

The last 6 is going to be hard to swallow…..

    • +1

Drop into Maccas and use their free ketchup for the last few

  • +2

By far the best nuggets in fast food.

  • +3

If you refer to nuggets as "nugs" i hate you.

    • +1

Don’t hate the player, hate the game #nuglife

  • +1

Their tenders are like 50x better than their nuggets, shame they are so bloody expensive and never have any deals for them :(

    • Tenders are a piss-poor replacement for crispy strips.

      • They are actually the same thing, just different way of preparing it/different seasoning mix.

        • +1

Exactly. So they're a piss-poor replacement for crispy strips because they're not made the same way.

Same chicken, sure. It's the completely different coating that ruins them.

      • hey look, another squid!

    • +1

That's because they are real chicken tenderloins. Which carry a large price tag (Look in Coles, chicken tenderloins are normally 2x price of any other chicken).
Nuggets on the other hand are breast meat

    • agreed love their tenders sweet chill tenders from Woolworths are similar with an air fryer and much cheaper!

      • … and now they've been ditched, no longer stocked.
Only the crap frozen stuff available now.

  • -2

    Kentucky Fried Crap

  • I know what I am having for dinner at work Thursday night

  • Not really fussed about the nuggets. But the hot and spicy chicken…I'll be so sad (and thinner) if my local one stops doing it year round.
