  Apparently this machine is a pain. Since everytime you use the milk frother you have to open and clean. So if you are lazy don't buy because the milk will built up and dry inside causing it to stop.

      That's true also. When it sputters its aim will be off and will shoot foam all over the place.

    Pretty easy to clean, I would think with a standalone milk frother you would have to clean that after every use too.

      Yeah any milk frother that you don't clean after every use is gonna get very gross very quickly

      Other Lattissimas have a button that will clean the RCS by pouring water and steam through it. They recommend you clean it fully every second day, but I do it twice a week with no problems.

      This model doesn't have the self cleaning button. You have to clean it fully every time, which for me is twice a day. If you don't have a dishwasher, cleaning it fully means disassembling it and soaking all the parts in hot water for 30+ mins. What a chore.

    True but easy to clean. just keep your self busy with this. (wash it every time you use it)

    Saw the video where it splutters but in my experience, with A2 whole milk, it's fine.

    You can refill the container and make several cups of milk coffee but once done you'll have to wash it. I don't mind the washing, takes literally a minute.

    It is. You have to clean the RCS after every coffee. It can't clean itself.

  I got this for $89 which included 100 free pods and only started using it a few days ago.

  Even at that price I wouldn't recommend it.

  You have to thoroughly clean the RCS after every coffee. And the RCS is designed for one coffee. Instead of having a separate button for cappuccino and machiato, what coffee you get depends on how much milk you fill. It will always empty the milk container, so if you are making multiple coffees you will have to open it and fill it again.

  Other Lattissimas have a bigger milk container so you can pour more than you need and save the rest in the fridge.

  I'm going to buy a new machine.
