This is the cheapest that I have seen this coffee machine. Harvey Norman has it at $1499 at the moment, while Myer and TGG has it on sale at $1299

There is also a bonus offer via redemption valued at $155 https://promotions.delonghi.com.au/baristapack

I am interested to hear the feedback of the OZB community to see if this a good value automatic coffee machine or whether there are better options out there.

    • Thanks that is awesome! I wonder if you would still be able to claim the bonus offer with this deal though?

  • Other than having a screen, what would justify such a big price difference between this and PrimaDonna Elite

    • I was thinking the exact same thing, the features all sound very similar (except a nice looking screen)

    • Using PrimaDonna Elite…. loooove it :)

Several years ago I ordered a PrimaDonna Elite from the DeLonghi Outlet and still going strong.

    • Which model of the Prima Donna elite have you got?

We have this machine at work at it's excellent.
It makes probably 20 coffees per day and has been going strong for a few months.

    The only negative points are:
-descale takes about 45 mins and required many things containers to be filled/emptied.
-the wording of some of the display stuff is pretty average.
-if it needs multiple things filled/emptied it only tells you one thing at a time (annoying for us as the bin/sink is in another room).

    Otherwise an excellent machine.

    • Does your machine remind you when it needs to be descaled? I've had mine for a while now but have not descaled it yet.

      • I use the Primadonna Elite and yes it tells you it's time to descale, we use ours maybe 2-3 coffees a day only and it took 8 months for the first descale notification to pop

Machine also comes with first set of descale liquid, water filter (change bimonthly) and cleaning tools

      • Yes, we have to do ours every 6 or so weeks but it gets a lot of use.

Bought an earlier version of this second hand a few years back for $350, it had only been used for 30 coffees, just checked and an now up to 12,000 and still going strong.

Same great unit… I've had other delonghi and jura machines and this series is on the money!
