      Last time I bought it from Camera pro for $1509 plus shopback $37, final price was $1472.
      Keep eyes on it, maybe can find better price.

      Great camera but as all the other Pentax stuff it is very bad at video recording.
      I do not know why Pentax got stuck in the 20th century.

        niche non-ilc cameras like this benefit pretty minimally from video. If there was demand for it from the userbase, they definitely would have a better video experience by now.

          My comment was about all Pentax cameras.
          None of them can do good video.

          If you think people do not ask them to release a DSLR with decent video features, look at their forums.
          One example : Pentax KP still does not have in body stabilization (no Pentax lenses have optical stabilization by the way).
          It was unofficially promised two or more years ago - still not implemented.

          And yes, they are losing market.

      As an enthusiastic former owner of the GRII, I'd love to grab the GRIII, but it's just too expensive still. Pretty sure I bought my GRII new for around $750.

        I almost pulled the trigger on the GR3 but yes, still too expensive for that camera. I remember my GR2 was bought from BH photo for $650 AUD.

        FF lenses are too expensive, only want the A6600 for the upgraded battery or else I would've settled for the A6400 as i'll be shooting with a gimbal the majority of the time anyway.

                @snvl: Ok i went back into store and was shown the sign board which states that they do not provide any cash refund. This is the Melbourne CBD store. The guy said no digidirect will ever refund you in any payment form you've made and any refunds theyve made in the past will not be applicable moving forwards . SO BEWARE if you're thinking of buying or have been pressured to buy from them - make sure you think carefully before you make ANY purchase.
