    This or Viewsonic VX2758-2KP-MHD?

    • Stock replenishment ages away for most sites.

Currently available at Computer Alliance eBay for $499. You can add a $1 item to reach $500 and then apply code PLAY100 to get $50 off, effectively $450 for the monitor

          MSY has it in stock.

I really like my Viewsonic VX2758-2KP-MHD especially for the price.

          • @Axelstrife: Good if you can pickup instore. Looks like most unavailable though.
Cheaper at CA eBay store once you account for postage.

          • @Axelstrife: How's it anyway?
Good colours, angles and refresh rate?
            Any IPS glow?

Very tempting. I reckon being $100 cheaper for similar specs is worth it IMO.

        • No HDR on the Viewsonic :'(
Edit: Apparently what you need to get a proper HDR image is a class rating of 600 minimum on your display (preferably 1000). It seems to be agreed that 400 isn't enough to give you a proper HDR image.

Makes my decision easier since the Viewsonic is way cheaper

Built from the same panel apparently, and there's also a review on another similar Acer model, the VG271UP:

I have bought a refurbished one for $320. I put it aside of my Dell 24 inch 1920*1200. The size is a little bit bigger but quite similar. I used it on Windows 10 by Zooming 125% for it, the displays are similar as well. The difference: Acer is more vivid, brighter, clearer, and looked more comfortable. The pictures are more feeling of a pop-up. I don't play games, so not sure about the refresh rate. It is an IPS panel.

  • Not expired, dealing still ongoing. Just bought it after spending the last 2.5 weeks reading about every QHD IPS monitor. While everyone is wanting the LG GL850, I couldn't wait anymore for them to be near 636 again or in most cases, in stock. Besides, this one is brighter compared to the LG 400 Vs. 350. While this one covers 95% of DCI-P3 compared to the 98% of the LG, minor trade-off.
By all accounts, this is a great monitor, can't wait to pick mine up hopefully tomorrow.
