  • Thanks op, bought one for christmas present

  • +6

Thanks OP, I bought one for a christmas present.

    To myself.

  • Good price. got one. thanks OP.

  • +2

I watched the video and was a fraction more bored than I know I'd be if I was using them in real life. Great price.

    • Omg, that video is one of the best promotional videos I've seen for anything, ever! :)

      • +1

Was thinking to buy these, then i watched the video…

  • Thanks OP. Just bought 3! Christmas presents for all!!

  • Got one. Thanks Doweyy.

  • Bought 2 thanks

  • Will 4 of these pair up?

    • Quad up?

    • +1

No-one will pair up with you if your brandish one of these! I think I’ve seen the Fisher Price branded version of this design ;)

    • It says on the questions that you can select solo, team 1 or 2 team too so I think you can.

  • God that looks bad

  • Thanks OP! OzBargain Nerf battle?

  • +4

I was going to buy it until i watched the promo ad lol.. for $25 i'd say is about right

    • +3

I added to cart and then watched the video - that was enough to convince me to delete the item from my cart! Count me out for this one.

    • Thank you so much for raising this - I went to my room to get my wallet to proceed through check and thought I'd just skim the comments real quick.

      By god… that video…

Just saved me $25 and a disappointed nephew.

    • Yeah the video definitely saved me $25 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vpYc2TK4y8M

  • Thanks Doweyy.Ordered 2 sets.

  • +1

HAHAHAHA that promo video on the product page is the most cringeworthy thing ever.

    • I can't stop replaying it, it's horribly funny!

  • Tempted to buy it for my 4 year old nephew, it might entertain him for a few hours 😬

  • I watched the video and ask a question. The infra red detector is top of the nerf gun. If you keep hiding it , so you won’t get shoot and never lose ? What’s the point ?? Then I think I pass this ….

    • Yeah but are you really gonna spend the entire game hiding behind a car.

Just play with people that have some sense?

      • Can't lose to the kids. If I can't win 30-0 I'm not playing with my 6 year old.

        • +1

This is excellent. I mean, I don't have kids. But if I did, I would mercilessly taunt their lack of ability until they are old enough to beat me, then stop playing.

Like, as if that isn't the whole point of having kids :-P

  • The Amazon reviews all seem relatively positive though??

  • +1

These were released in 2008? I am not sure if I should cancel. Someone made the point of covering the sensor which the kids I intended it for would likely do that. The reviews seem overly positive with over 400 reviews.

and we wonder why the USA has a problem with guns … lol

    • and yet a couple was shot in a club in Australia because they had a gun that everyone knew was fake.

  • +1

So this justifies all my eneloop purchases

  • +3

Sold out now as price is $116 and sold by mighty ape now. Still unsure if I should cancel. Mainly the 24 batteries I need to now get.

    • 24? It needs 12 batteries each? Where do u find that info? Ordered 2 last night :((

      • 6 batteries per gun

        • I ordered 2 packs/4 guns

  • +1

The newer Nerf Laser Ops Pro toys have way more functionality than these old LTX toys:

They’ve been even cheaper too (but now out of stock):

    • apparently those ones need a phone connected

      • Phone only needed for a single player game. Which is kinda entertaining.
Otherwise it's similar to this product.

      • I have a set and yeah I think it needs a phone to record scores. We just leave the phone on a table in the backyard and run around then check scores at the end.

    • While this does look pretty excellent I am hiding my regret behind the fact that I plan to use these while drinking and that added layer of complexity is more likely to be annoying than fun.

I used to own lock on, and then laser challenge. I love that this doesn't involve annoying headsets or chest sensors.

  • Back up if anyone missed out.

  • Price is showing $116.01 so I a guessing it is sold out.

    • Yep looks to have gone back up already. Must not have had many more for that $25 price.

  • Has anyone received theirs? Mine shows: Ordered Tuesday, "arriving Monday", but not shipped…

    • Yeah got mine today. Hope yours comes soon!

      • Thanks, enjoy yours! :)

  • At $12.50 per gun, these are great value!! Solid feel, great sound, impressive force feedback. Digital score display would have been great, but the flashing bars work somewhat and again for $12.50 ea you really can't complain.

  • Got it but it’s packed in a brown box

    • What colour were you hoping for?

  • We used these today and it was quite fun and enjoyable.

    • Name checks out.

  • These are actually amazing. I wish I bought a few more to have more kids playing together.

  • Yeah these are great value. Has anyone tested the runtime of these guns? We've had about a solid hr worth of play on eneloops. A low battery indicator would have been nice :P
