7 x Clearance Items throughout Kmart - Pencils, Tape, Cabinets, Blankets, etc

750

Went in and took some happy snaps at KMart last night and have found various items that may appeal to some OzBargainers. These include the following:

Item 1: Papermate Pacer 100 Mechanical Pencils (3 pack) for 75 cents
http://i25.lulzimg.com/c3abf9.jpg
Keep one for yourself and share the others perhaps?

Item 2: Office One Packaging Tape with Dispenser for $1
http://i25.lulzimg.com/66bc58.jpg
Handy if you need to tape up your eBay packages that you've sold, or for boxes when moving.

Item 3: Homemaker 2 Drawer A4 Filing Cabinet for $39
http://i25.lulzimg.com/18ce86.jpg
Ended up buying one myself after looking at Officeworks and found them to be quite expensive.

Item 4: Homemaker 4 Drawer Cabinet for $25
http://i25.lulzimg.com/175a22.jpg
Had to stand it up to take the photo - pretty darn heavy for what it was I thought!

Item 5: The humble clock for $3
http://i25.lulzimg.com/fed2b0.jpg
After seeing the IKEA one for $2.99 I had a look and found it on an every day price for $3, so don't worry as this price is not for a limited TIME.

Item 6: Tab top ready made curtain for $10
http://i25.lulzimg.com/ffbc06.jpg
Took another photo for the specs which are to fit window up to 0.75m wide x 2.13m drop. Note this is only one curtain, so you'll have to buy another.

Item 7: Printed snug blanket for $5
http://i25.lulzimg.com/79fae3.jpg
This item was hard to take a photo of as it was located next to the back room where staff were always coming in and out of, so hence it is a bit blurry.

I have found that generally clearance items are nationwide, as previous bargains listed here on OzBargain were also available at my store. I hope that these may help :)

    $5 snuggies!!!!

      but no reading light!

  • +1

The material used to make that snug blanket is very thin.

I noticed that since Kmart went OK with prices of items dropped, they are now like a $2 Shop or Crazy Clarks/Go Lo stocking lower quality products. This is not against the OP hunt for bargain items, which is much appreciated.

      • Nope, thats not exactly true. Goods are cheaper because we sell more of the same, less varity means we order more of one product for less and sell it for less.

        • +1

No, I actually agree with twosixfiveoh. Variety is pretty poor now with lower quality items now stocked. The range is just not there anymore, except for their own house brands. Big W are a better variety store now.

+1 for effort. What a champ.

    • +11

agree. +1 for your effort lurking around kmart looking for bargains.

    +1 for your effort…

  • I saw some OK looking glass salad bowls for $3 last night too….

"Item 1: Papermate Pacer 100 Mechanical Pencils for 75 cents…"

Damn i thought they was a 100 pack

    • Have changed it for clarity - I wish it was for 100 though!

    Great post and effort aldog.

  • plus for the tape :)

  • Kmart has HEAPS of reductions/normally cheap prices now.

Yesterday I saw $5 Ladies exercise pants (reduced from $15).
Also they have plain print tees (mens and ladies) for $6. They are 100% cotton and this is an "everyday" price too!

  • +1 for you work

  • i have dumped bigw and target for kmart since i realised how much the price differences are for similar items.

    • I never thought Target was really a competitor (same group as Kmart and target a slightly different market) but I too have dropped Big W for Kmart- it's so much cheaper!

      • +1

i personally won't touch anything from kmart especially kmart home brand and clothing.very very poor quality.you get what you pay for.they are cheap because they are cheaply made and highly inflated rrp.not worth it.

        • I bought an exercise shorts from kmart few months ago for $5 and found it to be pretty good. I agree that not everything from kmart is of good quality but for the prices you can't really complain.

    • I find the quality of Kmart's budget/home brand clothing to be the least of that three. Pricing doesn't make a difference to me as I'm a $5 rack shopper from those stores.

I don't bother with the home brand electrical items.

    Blankets.

    I see Tiger Print.

    I see Leopard Print.

Do they come in Cougar print?

    • +1

I don't think they have any 'Desperate Housewives' ones…

    • Yes I believe I have seen them in stock in cougar but it varies how much each store gets.

    • You buy them blank & stamp the cougar into it yourself dude! They will need at least a couple of coats!!! :D

    • +2

I want snow leopard and lion :3

  • nice effort.

  • Nothing stationary wise in Kmart New town

    • probably too many students in that area

  • +6

    WHAT A CHAMP!

+1 for effort of kmart stealthing
+1 for effort of uploading pics and bargain
+1 for well manicured nails and right angle bending skills with forefinger

uhh yeah, im not a stalker…

    • Unfortunately I pick my nails :( But thanks for all the positive feedback - might try and pop in more often for more happy snaps!

      • +7

Don't try it in London though…

        • +8

I don't know why people are giving that place a bad rap for…everyone else I know who has just come back from London say it's a riot!

  • +1

I've noticed they are alot cheaper on most things than their competitors now, clothing especially. DVD's and Blurays are still average though.
    Good effort opp.

  • +3

I used the papermate 100 mechanical pencils B4 and they don't last very long—their lead ejaculating mechanism just shats after a few months. =(

  • This is everyday pricing, not clearance pricing, for the below items at our K-Mart:

Item 3: Homemaker 2 Drawer A4 Filing Cabinet for $39
Item 4: Homemaker 4 Drawer Cabinet for $25

  • Item 4: Homemaker 4 Drawer Cabinet for $25 … I have 2 and I'm in need of 3 More… Garden City where I got them is out of stock or so they say… anyone know where I can get a few more of these please.
