        Honestly, I have a megaboom and it's pretty damn good - with the 20% off I think it's a good deal!

          @montygommo: I listened to them both in store.

          I preferred the sound of the JBL Charge 4. It costs about $10-20 more. But it has a 20 hour battery life, and a USB out so you can charge your phone.

    I'm never buying JBL ever again. I've had THREE of their speaker (Pulse 2, Pulse 3, Charge 2) and all three have had issues with the charge port or with holding charge after about 6 months.

    Their customer service sucks as well. UE or Bose all the way.

      Bose is just as bad. Firmware issues with the sound link mini cause them to go into shipping mode and not get charged. I had mine replaced under warranty but then same thing happened a second time and no longer under warranty.

    i got charge 4 last week with the same deal. it sounds better to me. I had a megaboom 3 that stopped charging earlier this year so giving jbl a try.
