So their bullshit "50% off RRP" is Bulk Nutrients normal price. And we know BN is high percentage product.

Chemist Warehouse appears to spend most of their money on in store signs claiming that their bullshit prices are actually cheaper than anywhere else.

    • How is the tatse on bulk nutrient products? Ive mostly had musashi or optimum nutrition, so how does it compare?

      • +2

I've not had those for a long time, but the 'protein matrix' (blend) ones by BN are awesomely smooth tasting. Some would say too sweet but I think they're just right. Choc honeycomb, tastes just like a Crunchie milkshake. It's quite 'light' too.

        • Cheers, might stick to their whey concentrate next protein haul because I'm cheap haha.
But might give this ago in future too 🙂

      • I find BN waaaay too sweet, so I only buy their WPI Raw now.
I would rather take a lower protein content drink from another company that tastes better than one that’s high in protein and tastes like you’re drinking pure sugar

Why the hell would you buy a LOW protein PROTEIN drink?!

  • Oh. I thought this was for "including protein", not "INC Protein"…

    • its INC protein, updated the title

I've had sample packs of this protein and it's absolutely terrible. Gritty and doesn't mix properly. Uninspiring taste too.

Basically, it's a 'supermarket brand', which if you are into nutrition you'll know exactly what I mean. Scrapes by at a minimum standard and starts off overpriced so that heavy discounts look like it's actually cheap.

Just get Bulk Nutrients (or Gold Standard if you really want to spend money). Flavour and quality are noticably better.

    • Do you normally get bulk nutrients from their online store or is there any other source which is cheaper?

      • +1

I just order from their store. Dont know if there are any other sources (maybe they have an ebay store and you could use some general ebay codes?) and they probably don't have sales either as such.

Just get a decent supply per order so that the fixed postage charge is worth it.

  • Could anyone recommend a quality vegan protein without sweeteners?

      Try spinach

    • Try bRaw

bRaw is built on the back of some of natures finest, nutrient rich foods. Created to provide raw, untouched and unfortified ingredients, bRaw epitomises what it means to work alongside nature as opposed to against it. With products designed to provide a complete nutritional solution, bRaw is 100% animal product free, spray free, artificial free and it is vegan friendly.

    • Earth Protein perhaps? I'm a WPC man myself but recently had a sample of this which was ok

  • Thanks OP! Was waiting for their 1/2 price deals to come back.

    Musashi is also 1/2 price.

  • Doesn't appear to be half price online

    • It is. They are just not showing you the Before price (RRP).

I keep an eye on a few INC products and they're definitely half (CW's) RRP at the moment.

That's not to say they ever sell these at full RRP…
