    I have the S2000 and it was amazing. Only issues is the remote which only functions within 35cms……

      Thanks for sharing your experience. That is a shame since cheaper Edifier models seem to work from a distance.
      My advice would be to try different (new) batteries & make sure you point the remote at the correct speaker (this is the case with the cheaper models also, you must point it to work).
      Only other thing I can think of is to clean the IR receiving area (black rectangle shape thing below woofer of one speaker).

    Bought these from the edifier sale, recommend. We use them for the tv, record player and Bluetooth.

      How do they go with the tv, not having a centre channel. Do you watch movies?

        Movies, tv, YouTube. Our last tv system had a centre channel but wasn't a good quality setup. So I've little to compare to. But it sounds great. If you're of a mind to try them, the edifier website does a 30 day return policy

    Was looking at these but was sold out so bought box damaged Q Acoustics 3010i for $249 + 240 for Yamaha V385.

    Don’t know which one is better. Plan to buy 3050i in 1-2 years time.
