[PC] DisplayFusion $15.48, 4-Pack $43.38 69% off @ Steam

200

Display Fusion is 69% off again on Steam. Perfect for those who just purchased an Ultra Wide monitor recently. Just trying it out now on my 3 monitor setup. Main monitor is an Ultrawide, second is a monitor in portrait mode and third is a tv. So far so great! The dividing of the main screen into two windows is awesome. Managing of my wallpaper collection looks pretty damn good too, especially as I can have different ones on my portrait monitor. Haven't worked out how to make my screensaver into a slideshow yet. Maybe you can't? Anyway, looking like $15.48 very well spent.

As per Steam description:

DisplayFusion will make your multi-monitor life much easier! With powerful features like Multi-Monitor Taskbars, TitleBar Buttons and fully customizable HotKeys, DisplayFusion will make managing your multiple monitors easy. These features even work when AMD Eyefinity or nVidia Surround are enabled on your system!

  • Cheers mate! Been waiting for this to go on sale.

    • Me too! I googled display fusion and it came up as the discounted price and had do a double take to make sure it wasn't a cached page. I didn't think they would discount it until after Christmas. Just wanted to see what the normal price was.

      • Yeah normally doesn't go on sale, I was surprised I saw it too!

        • I think the key feature around 'zones' on your monitor becoming a native free feature of the powertoys (and could become embedded in Windows 10 itself in the future) may have provoked the reaction.

Also love this for my ultra wide, quick shortcuts to divide and manage the screen into 3 sections.

I've loved using Displayfusion but given the Windows 10 Powertoys has a very similar feature called "Fancyzones" and is free, it's hard to recommend Displayfusion just for that purpose. Obviously Displayfusion is more customisable (I set it up with an uneven distribution so the centre is my 'focus' area, and the peripheral areas are used for various chats/other programs), but if you just want it split into thirds, the Powertoys might be a better (and free) fit. Users with multiple monitors however may need the more advanced customisation of Displayfusion though.

  • DisplayFusion is great. Currently use it mainly for the wallpaper feature as I have an Ultrawide and another 1080p monitor.

Managed to get it for US$5.99 on Steam back in 2013. Back when the AUD was pretty much at parity to the USD. Was better to be buying off Steam back then.

    • I bought mine outright (using BTC actually!) but also have the free Steam code they gave out… is there any benefit to run it out of Steam rather than outright?

Funnily enough looking back at the prices of BTC back in 2017, in today's terms, it's $78.16 AUD! Ouch!

  • Will this fix the scaling issues that windows has between two different monitor resolutions?
