[VIC] Ozito Brushless Chainsaw Kit $189 (Was $215) @ Bunnings, Thomastown/Mill Park

150

Saw the brushless chainsaw kit on sale at Bunnings Thomastown and Mill Park. Unsure if at any other Bunnings.

This is the dual 3Ah brushless chainsaw. Used to be $287, then $215. Now $189. Good deal at this price.

Box says 2x 3ah, not 2x 4ah. I bought one this afternoon for $129 in Devonport TAS on clearance. There's one left.

    dual 3 MAh

I don't care about the chainsaw, just look at the batteries!

3 million ampere hour at 18 volt = 54 million watt hour = 54 MWh

That's 42% of the capacity of SA's Tesla storage battery. And you get two of them for $189 while SA paid $90 million for theirs. This is the bargain of the millennium!

Or is that 3 mAh, or 2.4% the capacity of an Eneloop, enough to power the chainsaw for 1 second?

Oh, I see. The real capacity is 3.0 Ah. What's an extra "M" between friends? (Although an extra M in my bank account would be very nice.) I'll remove it for you.

    Always $199 in SA…still is.

    •

Sorry, $199 is the skin only version. Listed as $189, but got it for $129 at Reynella SA.

Got mine for $129 from Capalaba QLD this morning. Bargain. Thanks OP.

Does it come up as that price on the Bunnings website for your store?

      •

Not on website. Deleted line. $189 in store but the lady marked it down further to $129 without me even asking.

        •

Can I please get a copy of your receipt. Local Bunnings will price match with a receipt.

Edit. Never mind, they matched it anyway

          •

@tunzafun001: NSW is still $149. If anyone can upload a receipt will be appreciated.

the leaf blower comes with 2 times 3amp batteries too for $150, very handy and its super powerful

  •

How long does this run for on one of those batteries?

    •

      It won't run on 1 battery - needs 2

$169 skin only at Rocklea this morning, reduced from $199. I had taken back the "basic" one (non brushless, 1 battery) due to crack in bar oil reservoir. Credit $129 - only $40 for the upgrade.

Castle Hill NSW has the brushless chainsaw 2x18V kit with 2 batteries down to $120, in front of aisle 17, about 6 left.
