Too expensive when zigbee is 1/3 of the price.

      Hi Xetrok

Thanks for your comment but we are different. People get what they paid for. Thanks ;-)

Well go on tell us why?

        • +1

Found this post by our Facebook admin. Maybe it’s easy to find out the difference? Thanks

        • Im the OP form Lectory.com.au.

Basically, you get what you have paid for.

Fewer issues reported by C-tec customers compare to Nue for sure.

C-tec's 2-way control system is simple and easy (does not require any scene switch)

        Hi Rep,

Please explain how you are different and your quality is then better?
I have purchased about 7 of the zigbee switches and have had 0 issues using them with samsung smart things :)
If you're going to make comments about other products please back them up with fact..

          Hi Xetrok

Thanks, we focus on our own quality and features but don't compare with other products. It's better to give our product a try and make fair comparisons. Thanks again.

          Hi Xetrok

This probably best tells the difference. May not be the same from the switch you currently have but it could be a good reference. The picture was sent from one of our customers.

          • @Ctec Sales: Here's a picture of the ZigBee circuit board I've bought and linked which is almost 1/3 the price of your wifi switches.
The quality is pretty good and I can't complain.
Other than connectivity (wifi vs zigbee) functionality is the same (if not better with the zigbee switches as I use them in my homeassistant setup with samsung smartthings).

@Xetrok: Thanks for sharing. It looks pretty interesting base on our experience ;-)

Won’t comment on that. All the best

These both need a neutral wire to operate FYI. This can be costly to get installed

    • +1

Understand that. Needing neutral wire is bit difficult for some houses, it's currently a restriction to our product.

    • +1

A smart downlight direct swap could be a better option in case of has no neutral wire in the ceiling

These switches are very good. I have used them on a few clients installs. They look great and function well. But the app is pretty average. It's not a problem if you intend to integrate with Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa, however be aware that the "Apple Siri" support is not Homekit compatible therefore you cannot use it remotely or setup home automation tasks with it (like you can with Google and Alexa).

    • +1

Thanks for your feedback aldroid, we will keep on improving our app. cheers

      • Apple Homekit support would be more useful. The app is really only used for initial setup anyway.

        • Thanks. We will keep people updated

  • Any chance of a 4 or 5 gang switch ?! Would be in like a bee to to honey

  • Dimmer switch is still showing $145 in Amazon cart , how can I get 20% off on this price
