Always good to contact Amazon and check though.
It seems likely that they purchased from a 3rd-party seller (e.g. Becextech) who undoubtedly sell grey stock. However, this deal is with Amazon AU, who are a Nikon approved seller and there should be no issues with warranty. If there is then contact Amazon for a refund.
last year it was cheaper with the cash back offer by Nikon, camera price came down to $3200
It’s cheaper at CameraPro (but says check stock). If you buy it they will honour at current price even if they ship late.
