The premium Xiaomi phone is currently on sale and would be a better purchase than the Mi Mix 3 as it has wireless charging but does come with a notch. Other difference is no 5G but that is a limited service in most places.

  Great phone with very decent battery life.
  If I really have to find some minuses, the only downfalls for me are:

  Phone hardware:
  When I video and walk around with the phone there is visible distortion

  Miui:
  you have to disable adds, once disabled all is good (typically miui)
  Updates will roll out slowish

  But I used miui for the last 4 years, so can live with it easy

    What do you mean video distorts? The phone doesn't record video footage well at all?

      Great video, but I noticed jitter/distortion when I walked around on a couple of visa, normally I never take visa so could be a rookie/settings error. Send video to Xiaomi but never got a reply

    EBay cases can only be started within first three months, not to say a seller won't respond if you message them. Also PayPal protection is only for 6 months. Likely Kogan will be in business far longer than an EBay seller and needs to abide by ACL while an eBay seller doesn't really have to.
    I would rather go to JB and pay a few extra if they sold it just to make sure I purchase from an AU seller for the extra protection.
