  My daughter is 8 months and 8kg so I think it will only be suitable for very small children

    Yep my 9mo is 9kg and that is just above average weight. I guess good maybe for people doing elimination communication (super early toilet training) but for most these will be way too small by the time the kid is ready to be toilet trained.
