Any reviews from the OzB community? Thanks

I've had one for about a month and use it every day. Good to hold and grind, easy to use, good workout for your arms. It's built well and feels solid.
      Very happy with mine.

Used mine to grind about 500g so far and no problems. Don't really know how to clean it properly I usually just rinse the catcher part. Easy to use and feels reasonably well built.

      • Brush.

        • Good idea actually, but then there's the oil residue as well. Will use a brush next time!

Got this last time it went on sale. Only used it for the first time yesterday and happy with it for the price. Not 100% sure on how to accurately change the grind size but still very happy with this for the price. Last time it was $8.70 https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/502355

How long does it take to grind 100g of beans?

ETA: One of the (scathing) reviews states:
The burr set is horribly inefficient. I like 23g of coffee for a 300ml pourover and it took close to 3min15sec of intense cranking of the grind wheel to get the required measure of coffee.

    • 100g will need 5 rounds of grinding (can hold bit over 20g inside) I do 80g once in a while, takes like 5-10 mins? I never really keep track on exact time.

      • attach it to a drill?

        • If you want a melted grinder…

      • Better to get electric? Wondering if get this or spend more and get electric.

        • Depends how much/often you want to grind. At the moment I only use mine for cold brew which I make a batch every like 4-5 days so I'm alright at the moment. Electric I'd save up for one of those brevilles :)

    • depends on how 'Fine' you want it, if you set it rough enough for plunger, easily under 1 minute each grind.

Could you use this for salt and pepper?

    • That is a great idea!!!!

Let me know what people think.
I might buy two, amazon prime, one for salt, other for pepper!!

  • Oh

    It’s expired!!! :( booo

  • Just arrived, thanks.
It's able to grind very fine if needed.
