950

Hi,

Partner came home with an assortment of these from the Boxing Day sales (that’s some rellies presents sorted for next time, shhhh). In store only apparently. Not sure how well either of these function, but reviews seem to be pretty good, especially when factoring in price.

Not sure on sale period.

As mentioned above, in store only.

OP has clearly stated it's in store only?

    • 🤦‍♂️

    Which store is this at?

    • +3

Australia wide according to store worker. Website seems to indicate that too.

    • +14

It says on the website. '$1 instore' so one can assume it's all stores

        • +3

Sis you click the link? It's clearly for the items op posted.

  • +6

People obviously not reading this. Post says in store. Provided links say in store.

  • Any chance of a slightly clearer pic?

    • +4

      Actually… No need… The website actually says $1 instore…

      Awesome deal OP

      Thanks

  • What is this and besides it's in sale what do I want one?

I own one and I dont even know.

No, the blade sharpener looks a a little container with a flip mirror and razor cradle in front. Has an adhesive clip on the back to affix to bathroom wall. Has a panel on the underside of mirror (which flips up) with a strip of some kind you strop the razor head over a couple of times. Suppose to clean and sharpen the razor to make it last 'six times longer'

The precision trimmer is a motorised pen sized device you switch heads out on. Useful for trims and styling of facial hair… and other areas ☝

      • Have you felt it sharpens the razors? What's your review

        • +3

Only had it for a couple of hours now so I can’t say definitively, but used it on a neglected Shaveclub razor - it seems to clean the lather, hairs and other junk off, maybe polishes the blades a little. I’d say for a dollar you can’t really go wrong.

Here’s some reviews of a previous gen version:

      What "blade"?

      It's $1 for the razor sharpener…

    • +2

Doesn't come with a razor. It even says that in the link.

    • +1

OP's link to the detailer has the $1 banner too. Somebody's confused alright…

just quit while you're behind..instead of embarrassing yourself further

  • Sold out at highpoint Vic

I should spend tonight outside a store to catch them first thing tomorrow morning

  • Wish I knew about this earlier when I was at the shopping centre.
    Nice deal.

Suggestion….Please call the stores… Will save you so much of your precious time.

Do you reckon you could sharpen knives with this? Like kitchen knives

    • +1

I’d say probably not. The material you push the razor against is this silicone type rubber stuff. Somewhat pliable. I think it’s more of a cleaner/polisher than a true sharpener.

      • +2

Pretty sure it’s more like a “honer” if that’s is even a real word
Like a honing steel you get with knife blocks, which basically straightens the edge as it gets misaligned.

Simply use your forearm. Costs $0. I’ve been doing it for years and it really does extend the life of your razor head.

    • I didn’t know this, will try it now!

    • been doing this for years and it helps keep razors for months for me

    • Is this why i see guys with bald patches on their arms?

      Maybe they could use this

    • Yep I bring my 5 blade razor with me in the shower once a fortnight and rub it in the opposite direction against my belly right after I've lathered with soap. Razor sharp good as new! I've had the same razor going 5 years now.

  • Verified.

Just went in store and picked up both!

Mate it's on the front page if their catalogue….

Stop whinging wake up early… It's in store today.

    16 remaining at burwood.

    • Just picked up some from Burwood too. They had about three left on display @ 12:15pm

  • Got 2 from Macquarie Centre. Not sure how many are left since I got someone to get it for me.

  • Just bought 3 of the Razorpit at Westfield Marion. Was informed max of 3 per customer. Had 3 or so left on the stand at the front of the shop when I left.

    • One person bought 9 from Burwood yesterday. It might vary from store to store?

    • The store in Chermside said they went out of stock on the first day of the sale
