  • Great find! I wonder how much better U2419HC is compared to U2417H? (apart from the C port of course)

  • are they lying about the slimness of the bezels? They look really tiny in the pic. But when you watch the video, it's pretty standard bezels.

    • Typical black border on top of bezels to lie about bezeless. My MAG27CQ has slim bezel at first glance until you turn it on. Granted, the bezel is still reasonably thin (measured around 8.5mm).

      • 8.5mm is pretty standard on monitors these days.

But if you look at this pic, the bezels are definitely thinner than 8.5mm. They are barely there.

        • Which is a lie as it's roughly 5mm.

    • The specs on page 11 of the U2419HC User’s Guide lists border width as follows:
      https://downloads.dell.com/manuals/all-products/esuprt_elect…

Border width (edge of monitor to active area)
      5.0 mm (Top)
      5.1 mm (Left/Right)
      8.0 mm (Bottom)

      • then the photos are a lie.

    • It's mostly referring to the physical bezels, of which they are minimal (only the bottom of the monitor has one). There is an additional 'bezel' that's only visible when the display is on.

Paid ~$220 for the model similar to this during the last 20% off eBay promo, for those that prefer something brand new and don't need/require a USB-C port.

    • Thank you, can you advise on model number please?

        U2419H.

        • Can someone please explain the USB-C monitor thing to me?

I don't have a USB-C laptop but I do have USB-C devices (phone/tablet/power bank). My PC does not have a USB-C out port.

If I was to plug my USB-C devices into the U2419HC monitor's USB-C port, would I get PD charging and/or data transfer (phone/tablet)?

@Qbagger: From the product page on Dell's website:

            Convenient connectivity
All in one: Declutter your desk with the included USB-C cable, a single cable solution that transmits power, data, video and audio.

Big convenience in one cable: Get an easy charge with USB-C, the same cable that connects your device to the monitor. Also, as you charge your PCs with up to 65W of power, protect it with Dell’s built-in surge protection.

Smooth transitions: Move from desk, to meeting and back again effortlessly with convenient, single cable connectivity via USB-C.

  • I reserved the last 27” version of this in stock (U2719D) for $309 refurbished. Currently have a Dell E2214H with a Geforce GTX 970. Is it a good deal? Worth upgrading to 1440p IPS for general use and possibly gaming at that resolution when I get a new graphics card?

    • Don't game at 60hz. You're capping the potential of your rig. I just got a 144hz monitor and can't go back.

    • Sorry I could not able to find the refurbished one. May be I went to the wrong link : https://pilot.search.dell.com/4009/U2719D. ??? Thank you
