Sony 85" X85G 4K UHD LED LCD Smart TV $3475 + Delivery ($0 C&C) @ Harvey Norman

130

Most retailers have this reduced at the moment. Not quite the historical low but a good price for a good tv.

This is part of Boxing Day Sales for 2019

      Cool story bro!

    • I bought the 65” today from HN.

Amazing tv. Extremely impressed with picture quality.

Watching 4K Netflix with Dolby Vision HDR is a sight to behold.

Got this from TGG today for $4150. Told them I had seen it for $4200 a while back but he wouldn't budge. Was leaving the store when someone stopped us to come back.

      Hopefully that was $3150..,

      • TGG still have a price guarantee? Even Sony direct has the price at $3499

      • Haha, yes. My bad.

        • Can you share the receipt or evidence of the purchase for $3150. I have purchased the same 85” for $3475 from TGG two days back.Let me try to price match if possible.

  • For those looking at reviews, the 85" has much better panel than the smaller variants (VA vs IPA, Direct backlit vs edge).

I picked one up a month ago, its gorgeous!

  • I bought one yesterday from Sony direct they price matched HN with free delivery and an extra 2 years warranty.

    • did you talk to them or buy it online?
      link please?

      • No link just went in store.

        • ok cool

          • @ajedi2k: New store in Castle Hill… Wish I had linked my card before!

Worth noting that Sony have discontinued their wall mount, means you have to go aftermarket anyone got a reccomendation? I'm looking at the Shelby ultraslim 1cm which holds 80kgs.

            • @m0zr: not really sorry, i thought the tv is 50kg ?

it must be following a vesa standard. so should be fine i would think.

when will you get it delivered? i'm so tempted. did the store have this model on display?

            • @m0zr: $69 got me a wall mount from Bunnings rated for 75kgs or something. but I had to use the spacers because the TV blocks my powerpoint. Going to look at installing a recessed or slim power point.
