    I have test played 720p ,1080p,4k files from usb drive on 85r7, 85x8500 and 65x9500

    4k is excellent in order of x9500, 85R7 , x8500

    1080p looks same on all x9500, 85r7

    720p is bad on all.

    I have watched all 3 from approx 3m.
    Below are the prices I have negotiated:

    85R7 -$2500
    85X8500 - $ 3100
    75X9500 - $3100
    Finally brought 85R7 from HN.

    This is me coming from 54 inch panasonic plasma.

    overall all 3 tvs i have tested are not upto my satisfaction. I only brought it because I need 85 inch for my sport viewing.

  Surprised these aren't flying off the shelves at this price. It's a good TV, big brand, and 85 freaking inches.

  I've got the cheapest LG 50" from a decade ago, bright lounge/kitchen/dining. And a kickarse JVC PJ in a dedicated HT.
  For replacing the plasma, this gives me all the benefits of another PJ, with none of the issues.
