Good Guys (Belconnen, ACT) has the Delonghi Nespresso Essenza Coffee Machine - Silver - EN95SPLUS for $290 as a "manager's special" when I was there yesterday ($240 after cash back). Any chance you could get yours down cheaper? Not really worth it currently with your $19.95 shipping…unless you have somewhere in ACT to pick it up? ;). Heck, even Myer was willing to go to $314 for me…and I could take it home today.

      Hi Salem,

At this stage we only have pick up from Richmond in Victoria for our coffee machines.

      Regards,

So you can't do any better on the price then?

  • i bought my pixie from bing lee, bargained down to $300 and then $50 cashback from amex, just ask for a deal.

if you havent used your amex cashback you could effectively get it for $200! (amex cashback + nespresso cashback)

    • Place I got my Pixie from waived their cc surcharge for Mastercard, but said they would have to charge me 3% for Amex

    • Hi mate,Can I request you to upload a copy of the receipt…I wanted to buy this too. Thanks in advance….

      • just asked the guy to not charge the amex fee and he didnt,

hm im not sure where i put the receipt either,
you can just call up bing lee and say you want it for $300, as myer etc usualy have 20-25% off electrical appliances.

How do I get this for $521?

    • Hi Unco,

Sorry about that, we had a typo on the price. It has been updated to reflect correct pricing.

  • "Nespresso capsules are sold exclusively by Nespresso and are more expensive than portions of ground coffee purchased "loose". The cost per serving is up to three times higher than that of alternative brewing methods." says Wikipedia.

It would qualify as a bargain if the capsule subscriptions are also discounted. Then again I'm only drink coffee casually, can't judge the quality of the capsules vs loose ones, maybe it's totally worth it.

What you're paying for here is not a brilliant cup of cheap-to-make coffee, but a decent cup of reasonably priced coffee, that is easy to do and easy to do consistently.

Personally, I have a real espresso machine and grind my own coffee from beans purchased from a local roaster. But my girlfriend is looking for something for her office that is easy and convenient, but that also tastes half decent. these fit that bill.

      • It's rather wasteful, but the coffee is decent. Much better than instant or filtered, but not quite as good as freshly ground.

  • "Citiz - Black" EN265BAE is $399 and can negotiate better price, even online.

Use you AMEX and get this for $299
