    Lol

  • Price in title, full store name in title

  • Good price for local stock. Reviews are great for it too.

  • OW pricebeat Mwave's + shipping ?

    • Mwave have pickup in NSW and I'm in Vic and got charged no shipping as I understood it at as they have pickup available then the shipping doesn't apply.

  • Great mic

  • Just picked up mine from Officeworks. Can confirm they don’t charge shipping since pickup is available.

  • Yeti is good for its versatility, but if you're getting it for singing or streaming, just get a dynamic mic. The Yeti requires a lot of add-on equipment and tweaking, even after you've correctly modified its polar pattern for that purpose.

Had a look through dynamic mics recently, and the AKG D5 is pretty impressive for live work at its price. That plus a decent XLR interface might set you back a little bit more, but they will scale so much more (as well as giving you a base to move to other mics in the future).

    • a decent XLR interface

Is very expensive. There are many cheap XLR interfaces but they are shit. That's why people recommend USB interfaces at the low end.

      • $100-$150 should cover it? You'd have to wait for a sale though. Given the way amps are being made cheaper and better now, expect the same for interfaces.

Amazon US might be an option for the D5 under the right circumstances. If all that came together, you're looking at $180 for a vastly superior setup to a Yeti.

  • Get 2 if you plan on starting an ASMR channel.

    • The yeti has a stereo pattern, you'd only need 1 to do asmr

    • Will keep an ear out for the OzBargainerASMR channel.
