Pennytel (Telstra MVNO) - First Two Months Free with No Contract (Selected Plans)

170

Reasonable prices for a Telstra reseller*. All plans unlimited calls and text. Plans included with FIRST two months free, no contract are:
$10.99 1gb
$19.99 4gb
Listed on ShopBack, but as 8÷ so I can't imagine it'd apply.

*All Telstra MVNOs (except Boost) have limited access to the Telstra network, mostly in quite regional/ remote areas - generally still a better service than full access to Optus/Vodafone

generally still a better service than full access to Optus/Vodafone

Hmmmnn. Really? There'd be plenty that would beg to differ.

    • Including me and I’m with Telstra at the moment

Perhaps I have a bias living in the country

      • I live in the country and get about 5mbs on Telstra and about 80mbs on Optus,

Had continuously bad experience with Pennytel long time ago with billing, payments and direct debits where the customer service was really unhelpful and it was more of a rip off.

    • +2

Which incarnation of Pennytel was that?

  • What does MVNO mean.

    • +3

Mobile Virtual Network Operator, ie, companies that don't own the underlying network and buy capacity from one of the majors (Telstra, Optus, Vodafone).

      LOL

Don’t be in a hurry, as I ordered one of these 2 weeks ago, and still no sim, that’s after the first order a week earlier went no where, checked back and no account, so created another.

Was waiting to get the sim, before posting the deal.

Not putting it down, just sharing my experience for what it’s worth.

Belong is better, data gifting, friends credits, double first month data when you activate between billing dates. Telstra wholesale networks.

  • I'll give it a go.

  • What is 8+?

    • 8%

Doesn't say 8% of what. CB says 7%, again doesn't say of what.

suitable for age eight and above

  • Website is down. Probably Ozbargained.

I have calls, texts and 4.5 Gb on Telecoice using Telstra 4G for $16 per month, no complaints at all about them.

    • My choice too. Been with them from the start, on the same plan as you too. Love it.

    • And my wife has made plenty of calls on her mobile over the past 5 years.

Your point relating to this Pennytel offer is?

      • I would have thought that was obvious. It's a better deal bro .. :-( .. !!

        • -1

What obvious is that this deal has 2 months free. While you have paid $32.

In 2 months they switch to whoever and are ahead of you.

Thats what puzzles me about your comment.

Can confirm that the 8% shopback tracked (1.60 for the 19.99 plan) even with the above promo
