I would buy it but not online. Bought once, sensor/mechanism broke. They said you return to our warehouse & we will repair it. $47 just to send the thing + more postage to get it back. Buy from local store.

Yeah Amazon is the exception. They are the best for returns. Either reimburse or free return shipping.

The costco one is terrible. I've gone through 7 in a year having to keep taking them back. The mechanisms just stop functioning. Costco in North Lakes said it's their most returned item.
Agreed, had mine for less than a year when the lid mechanism suddenly stopped working. A shame really, it was a great price for a decent looking bin that we found convenient.
