Nope, had cold water in mine for a day or more, in a 50 degree car (at uluru) was amazing to come back to…
I can confirm the double wall works amazingly well
I call bs because even the best ones don't stay cold for a whole day in a 50degree car
@ufsta: I may or may not have had ice in it, but pretty sure i didn't, as when we were in the NT, there was no way for us to make ice, also i didn't have a thermometer in my car, so im just going off, it gets freaking hot in a locked up car.
the bottles where stored in door cup holders, believe what you want to believe, but i was a convert after these experiences with the dual walled drink bottles due to these experiences.
Well the stainless steel flask I bought at kmart was in car all day but only was cold for 3 hours then warmed up.
It is quite possible you both are right.
I bought a shake bottle at Big W for $2, found it great and got a couple more a few months later. Same logo, same price, but total crap. Those stores switch their Chinese factory for a fraction of a cent and don't care about quality. For a consumer it's all but impossible to notice the difference before purchase.
i found the single walled ones where crap like that, but the dual wall insulated i had no problems with.
got annoyed at my wife for spending so much on insulated bottles, (as she bought a few when we already had some other ones) How quickly i ate my words when we where in the outback with these bad boys.
