          While some crocs look decent, and most crocs are super comfortable, some do look unquestionably abominable to the point that they could induce nausea.

          Most people buy from the relatively small subset of decent looking crocs.

      Not sure about that. The crocband flips run slightly large as a matter of fact! However, I could not comment on the bayaband.

      I could only be sure about a couple of things:

      • These thermoplastic crocs are as comfy as they get at this price range, and they're heaps better than the crap sold at target, etc.
      • See my comment about celibacy above.

      The only bayaband flips on sale are pink in small sizes. So I suspect it is moot point.

    There is actually alot less on sale than it initially appears.

    When viewing the sale listing's it describes many of the shoes as $19 to & $49. The croc pictured is invariable the full priced stock. The discounted croc is either a hideous colour or only in obsecure sizes.

    Quite deceptive on the part of crocs.

          I've been buying Crocs shoes for work for about 3.5 years now and this has been my experience with them for that whole time.

          Now I just buy Crocs on sale from Myer click and collect.

      You're making a good point. Hopefully they won't keep doing this kind of nonsense "sale". The last sale seemed to be better than this in retrospect.

      I only posted this deal because the "hideous colours" usually includes some shade of pink, and a lot of women seem to take a liking for those ones. Missy was quite happy with the pink bayaband flips (although I'd not wear one if a gun was pointed at my head), so it might be useful to some in that sense.

        I think its a good post, free shipping alone is a big saving, and if you can find something in the sale area even better.

      The way I see it, people are voting up because they're finding something useful. Plenty of stock has gone away, and I suppose it's been ozbargained. Just because you don't find something that suits your needs it doesn't mean that the upvotes are "shameful".

        I don't really care for upvotes/downvotes, just like stating my opinion on things. I feel a healthy dose of opinions - whether they be for or against - helps keep the balance of the boards.

        I've just always been repulsed by Crocs/Birkenstocks/other ugly (personal opinion) clothing items - like most (if not all) things from YD/Tarocash/Politix.

        Edit: although I'll admit I can't fault this "deal" as if it truly was a useful deal for some people, then it has its merits. I'm merely showing my disapproval (not that any of you need my approval) of Crocs as a brand.

    My friend used to swear by Crocs thongs, but ever since he got Slappa's Thongs, he says Slappa's are way more comfortable and durable than Croc's Flip.
    He only had them for one month though and I haven't tried them myself.
    My Crocband Flips have finally exploded after 3.5 years of abuse, so atleast I can recommend the Crocs for their quality. ATM I am wearing the cheapo $1.25 Kmart thongs until I find a worthy purchase.

      Looks like slappa's thongs do compete with crocs on the looks (but they cannot beat the crocs on looking like a complete gobshite). 'em slappa's are a bit pricey in comparison though. :-)

    Have the croc flips and rate them. Not a big fan in a fashion sense for most of the crocs though, but the flips look like generic flip flops.
