10 x Lavazza Nespresso Compatible Capsules $3 (was $6) @ Woolworths

180

Same price per capsule as Amazon, but with more flavours available and in a 10 pack. Not sure on end date for this price.

No idea if quality is comparable to original Nespresso pods, but OK to give them a go at this price.

  • Lavazza Armonico Coffee Capsules 10 pack - Intensity 8
Espresso Armonico, a coffee with a full-bodied flavour with enveloping notes of roasted cereals and caramel, comes from the blending of 100% South American Arabica coffee beans.

  • Lavazza Deciso Coffee Capsules 10 pack - Intensity 10
Espresso Deciso is born out of the combination of Brazilian and South East Asian beans: a soft and full-bodied Brazilian coffee with Oriental notes of cocoa and wood for a blend of intense and velvety flavours.

  • Lavazza Ristretto Capsules Intensita 11 10 pack - Intensity 11
The Arabica coffees from Central and South America combined with a touch of Robusta from Southeast Asia make this blend round and full-bodied. The particular dark roast with a short brewing time, typical of Italian Ristretto tradition, highlights its balance and flavours, extracting only the best notes during the brewing process.

  • Lavazza Vigoroso Coffee Capsules 10 pack - Intensity 12
From Brazilian Arabica and Washed Robusta roasted at high temperatures comes a blend of great character and natural strength for an intense and creamy coffee with a long-lasting caramel aftertaste.

For Nespresso Original Line machines (not Vertuo Line).

  • so capsule is now made to be compatible for every machine? what is the cheapest bang for buck capsule machine?

    • Just get a cheap Hario grinder and grind your own beans.
Better flavor, heaps cheaper, and produces no additional waste.

  • Bought a pack of Lavazza Armonico at Woolies and tastes like tea. Not recommended.

  • Deciso is a winner though. Haven't tried Ristretto but my inner Nigel wants to as 'these go to Eleven' https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hW008FcKr3Q

  • Lavazza isn't the best, or worst. I actually like the Starbucks range, I've tried several of those, all really nice, strong flavour.

  • +1

    Plastic landfill.

    • Is that why name of them are aluminium now?

Also, get over it. Sick of this comment being on every post involving a physical item

      • Get off your high horse, I don't care if they're made from treated sewage they're still an environmental disaster compared to regular coffee beans, which have been working fine for hundreds of years now.
Even the inventor of pod coffee regrets his invention (https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2015/mar/04/why-theā€¦)
If you can't wrap your head around why these are a bad idea for the health of the planet then I suggest you go visit a rubbish tip some day.

As for the people complaining about plastic crap going into landfill, is it not a legitimate concern?
And how is their concern and occasional comments negatively effecting your life exactly?

Think about the environmental cost of producing the oil, shipping it around the world to turn it into plastic, then shipping it back around the world to to be used a handful of times (because there's no economic incentive to make something that will last for decades) before being carted off to landfill where it will leak micro plastics into the soil / ground water for the next few hundred years.
The disposable plastic you're so keen on defending will still be polluting the environment your great great grandkids are living in.

  • Nespresso pods are the best, follow by Starbucks House Blend and L'or Risettro.
