Dewalt DCM562 18V Brushless Cordless Blower $199 Delivered @ MelbourneToolSales (Pricebeat @ Bunnings $179.10)

130

Doing some late night browsing and noticed that MelbourneToolSales have the DCM562 blower for $199. This is cheaper than Bunnings ($249) which means you can price beat. This also seems to include delivery too (eDelivery?) and if you’re in Vic you can just use pickup from their Hallam store.

Personally, I have this blower and find it really good around the garden. Can move a fair bit of debris when cleaning up. Combined with a line trimmer it can chew through battery (I’ve got a 54v 6aH via another deal) so that’s for consideration.

Get a broom ya loud jerks

    • our back and front garden just has too many trees and plants dropping leaves, and we get stuff from the neighbours as well. We used to sweep weekly, but it's way too much effort.

Got mine for $99 at Bunnings. Clearance stuff. Ask around

    • Ok, i'll ask. Where do I get one?

      • Ask at your local Bunnings. Or call around. Each Bunnings does different clearance items sometimes.

    • Are you sure? They cleared the Flexvolt 54V version but from my understanding this is the entry now (the little blower for $ 98 is a workshop blower).

      • quite sure. Same model number:

        • Nice work. Will go in tomorrow armed with this receipt.

          • @LittleTicket: Any luck?

            • @ileonid: So it’s happened twice now. This and the TStak $20 offer - had the receipt ready to go, asked the assistance if they matched receipts “yes yes” - they take a look and say “oh no that’s a special price”. There’s no mark or asterisk on the receipt so not sure how they know?!

Good for drying the car on wash day.

Not a very good deal. Flexvolt version is on clearance for $99 at some Bunnings stores. This item was $99 last year at the dewalt trade in sale (not that you needed the trade in at Sydney tools).

Errr this doesn’t require a flexvolt battery and it appears that the Flexvolt version isn’t up to everyone’s taste. Not sure how often they’ll run the trade in promo either?

Bunnings changed their price beat policy, just noticed today.

    Same day delivery or collection.

"Our lowest prices policy applies to any lower price on an item that is in-stock and available for delivery or collection on the same day from a competitor’s online or physical store in Australia"

  • How does this compare to Ryobi One+ in real world use?
The ryobi states +240km speed but doesn’t state CFM
