First time poster. Long time lurker.

Looks like an error on the Amazon AU page I found while planning to pre-order it on the $5 off pre-order deal.

Description matches RE3, first picture shows RE3, title is RE3. However pictures 2-7 show RE2.

Only concern would be that RE2 arrives in the mail, as it says shipping time 2-3 days. However then says release date in April.

Is it worth taking the risk?

    If you end up getting Resident Evil 2, then you could probably get a full refund from Amazon, as the title and picture are for Resident Evil 3.
    So it probably wouldn't hurt to take the risk.

    Comes out in 73 days. Clearly an error if delivered before end of month/January using expediated postage

    The ASIN number matches RE2, so you're getting RE2. Amazon is less about titles and pictures, more about product codes.

    If you ordered this, there is no gamble. Just cancel your order before it's too late.

    What's the worst that can happen? A refund? A return?
    The 3 non-Amazon sellers (AUSOnline, Rarewaves UK & MplusL) are all cheaper with 3 April 2020 shipping dates.
    They don't charge till they ship. No risk really - orders will likely get cancelled if they can't be fulfilled.

      the riskis the waste of your time and energy.
      its obviously an error so u will waste your time ordering it, collecting it, returning it and dealing with customer service.
      u might get to keep resident evil 2 or get a $5-10 credit.

      had a similar issue with purge dvd set i ordered from amazon that came from usa.
      said 4k etc but was just usa region dvd and they just refunded.

      so u can gain if u dont mind the hassle but its a bit of arort if u do it on purpose
