Terms and Conditions

  • To qualify for the $2 Cashback Bonus, you must ‘Activate Cashback’ at any participating store through the ShopBack Button browser extension and make a transaction through that store (AU $5 minimum spend, excludes shipping & GST) between 12am and 11.59pm AEDT (inclusive) on 21st January 2020.
  • Purchases through ShopBack's app, mobile site and direct desktop site do not qualify for the bonus. Purchases must be done through the browser extension.
  • A participating store is a store in which:
    — ShopBack offers cashback for, and,
    — An “Activate Cashback” prompt appears when you access the store’s website.
  • The $2 cashback bonus is in addition to the usual cashback you will receive for transacting through a participating store.
  • You must have earned at least $10 confirmed cashback from general purchases to withdraw the $2 cashback bonus.
  • The $2 cashback bonus will be credited separately into your ShopBack account by 31 March 2020.
  • Limited to one bonus per customer.
    Note down the respective store’s purchases excluded from cashback, as the purchase of such items will not qualify you for the bonus.
  • Returned, exchanged and cancelled orders will void your eligibility for the bonus.
  • If your tracked cashback is rejected, your bonus will be voided.
  • ShopBack reserves the right to dishonour bonuses for members who have participated in this offer in a fraudulent manner (ie. using multiple accounts). Such members may be banned and any cashback on their accounts forfeited.

      They are certainly a bit more aggressive with their promotions.

      Since Shopback opened, I've earned $430 in CASHBACK from SB and just $22 with CR. I simply just select the provider that pays the highest rate on the day.

      Of course, competition is healthy, I hope they both do well.

                @first in line: For Shopback, it is almost always excluding GST, irrespective of the website you shop at. But for Cashrewards, the bonus $ amount usually includes GST.

          Go to "Returns and Orders" (top left on main Amazon.com.au page) and you you'll see a list of your orders - click the relevant button to cancel the one you want to.

        You can't simply cancel in some instances e.g. if shipped from 3rd party and not Amazon. I tried to cancel something recently and the only option was to "request cancellation" with a disclaimer it is not guaranteed and can only be done if approved by the 3rd party.

    Recently bought something because of the 12% increased cashback promo and did not track . Looked up productreview 32 out of 52 reviews had the same problem .
    https://www.productreview.com.au/listings/shopback Basically it hit or miss if get the cashback doing all the correct moves and I'd advise everyone to keep accurate records . Meantime I'll treat all purchases as if cashbacks don't exist and only will trust codes and gift cards .

    Did a quick check on cashrewards with average over 4 stars both places with 1700 + reviews .

      I have not had one single issue except 1 item which was a bonus not tracked. This is 100s of orders

      You aren't purchasing the items correctly through SB it seems if you are having issues consistently.

      In 1 year I received over $500 in cashback

      Did you activate cashback from the Chemist Warehouse store page on ShopBack or the pop up that appears when your on Chemist Warehouse's website? If the first scenario, you wouldn't qualify as the activation was not done through the extension.

    Installed Chrome add-on, went to Aliexpress directly, add-on gave message for 5% cashback, activated it, placed order over $5 and within few minutes got notification and email that 5% cashback is recorded. So am assuming i will automatically get this $2 cb on 31/3.
    Now to open a ticket for my $179 purchase at Platypus shoes for which click is recorded by cashback is not recorded :(

    Setup Chrome with the Web Extension @ ShopBack and went to AliExpress. ShopBack activated then went to buy item, the price for the item had increased by $2+ ????
    Closed Chrome down then went in through MS Edge checked item price now $2+ less then going in with Chrome/ShopBack.
    What Gives ????
