  • Great belt. I have had a couple for about 12 months and got another few for the kids last sale.
Very good value and the mech works easily.

    • I've been on the lookout for these automatic ratchet belt.

Mine from 2015 is falling apart.

5 years is pretty good hey. The old buckle style for me would only last about a year.

I've been loving the ratchet - no longer confined to discrete belt sizes, and can subtly adjust the belt whilst at a buffet!

        • yep, ratchet design is amazing and should be the standard.

I got my first one somewhere around there too.
Took a little while to get used to functionality but now I like it better than regular belts.

Don't forget to keep your metal-mechanism.
They come off easily and you buy replacement belts without the clasp to save a little bit of cash.

I've purchased multiple design back then, and I mix and match the buckles based on the occasion or what I'm wearing.

Great belts. I have been using one for a good part of the year. Been losing a lot of weight (72kg down atm) and every time I need to just cut a bit off and keep going. Love it.

This belt helps to reduce the weight …? 😛😛

      • its good as a tourniquet to stop the blood, every time he cuts a bit more off.

  • Cheers OP. Scored one off the waitlist.

  • I'm getting Total $17.49

I bought one of these like forty OzB posts ago. So about two months.

They are pretty average quality tbh. The buckle is solid as hell and well made, and I've never had an issue with the mechanism (unless you count trying to figure how HTF to get it off the first time!), but the leather is really, really cheap and plasticky. I wouldn't be shocked if it was 60% recycled Woolworths bags. And the buckle looks tacky af.

That said, I do love the mechanism and how easy it is to perfectly size, and I feel like I can't go back to a roller-clamp or a buckle-pin ever again. I'll probably put it on a less awful belt when this one melts on a 42 degree day.
