      Hey,
Looks decent pretty decent for casual cleaning (cleaning keyboards, fan/filters and internal desktop tower/mobo)
is the blow sufficiently strong? not overly strong to damage components?
      Also how loud is it?
      Thanks!

      • This product really blows

    used to pay $10-$15
but happy with 4 for $25 on Ebay.
the can doesnt go that far to pay $10-$15 imho

I find these useless when cleaning out a desktop PC. I usually head down to the local servo, crack open the case, use the compressed air hose and then go to town on it. And then maybe pump up my tyres after.

      wtf did i just read

        i dont fkn know either,
but least his name checks out, at least that makes sense

      • +2

I believe "go to town on it" refers to a vigorous act, usually sexual in nature

take it easy on them puffs bro

i bet you got that idea from an episode of Housos

  • For an alternative, my brother's flatmate uses a vacuum with the flat/edge attachment covered in tissue and held with a rubber band. He uses it on low power and doesn't touch components. Too much power can blow stuff around and into the pc eg, blowers, air compressors. This is more precise.

  • I recently changed the camera glass cover on my Samsung. Now all my photos have sh*t on it.
hope this magic can will solve the problem.

    • The spray will not help I think, it sprays something else together with the air and might make it worse.

  • Excellent tool to keep the inside of the pc clean. Compressed airhose… Just make sure the nozzle is clean

Should just invest in something like a Giottos Rocket Air Blower, can find off brands really cheap, range from $5 - $20. I’ve had one for 6+ years and still going strong. You can get a lot of force out of them, found they worked better and clean more debris out than cans of compressed air and they’re a great non disposable solution. Bought one initially to clean out my DSLR camera and lenses, but found it worked great for my computer, fans, heater and just about anything you need to blow dust out of. I did have to buy extras though, a mini travel sized one and also because people around me kept keeping them when I lent them out.

    • I was thinking the same thing reading through the comments. I have the branded Giottos rocket I got free with a camera lens filter purchase years ago but even an eBay/AliEx cheaper air blower is a decent mini duster.

And yeah if it was a big dusting job I'd probably try the garden blower idea too (haven't had to resort to that, yet)

    • I have one but theyre terrible for cleaning PCs

      • Specifically the large giottos air rocket one? Or a different brand/smaller size? Since it’s manual, it really depends on how much you pump it, and your hands may get a workout but for me it means never having to buy another can of compressed air again. In my field, I’ve worked with a lot of people who require high spec PC’s and know people who do builds for a living and the giotto was usually a game changer for them. Depending on your setup, you might still occasionally have to pull the case off to get in for a good clean regardless. My Wacom tablet has such small gaps and crevices that some things can get wedged in there good, but I’ve never had a problem getting them out with one where the compressed air couldn’t. When I’m cleaning a space heater for example, I usually use the air rocket from one side to loosen and push the dust out and simultaneously have a vacuum cleaner hose ready, with the head attachment off, on the other side, to catch everything and that saves me from having to take anything apart.

  • Doesn't always work, just giving heads up.

    Air for $9.95. what?

    • It's refrigerant gas, not air!

  • Went to buy some of these with a cousin over in the UK last month, he did self checkout and turned out he had to show ID to purchase. Lady who did the check found it quite amusing he was being ID checked for buying air, I guess people sniff them. They were £1 a can, need to get used to Australian prices again now,

  • Just walk into Kmart (pay $8) and save Gerry from eating too much and that is better for the environment.

And keep printing Infidel stickers: Warning breathing too deep can send you towards Darwin…
