  • They should change that code, I keep reading

    • Have you got some repeating images for “the incident”?

  • Any idea on the delivery time? Last time I bought a laptop off Dell eBay in mid October and they didn't ship it until the end of November. Got it early December.

    • Estimated between Tue. 11 Feb. and Tue. 18 Feb.

      • Mine was listed as late October (About 8 days from the original order time) when I ordered it so you can't go by that, once the date hit they sent me a msg saying my order had been delayed and when checking my tracking ID on the Dell Website it said they hadn't even begun doing the build.

    • Same, I contacted dell support and they said because i ordered it as soon as it came out, they allocated me a spot in the production list and they had to make it before shipping it
      Mine was Inspiron 7000 13 2 in 1

If you put the tracking number from eBay into the Dell Site it gives you a better indication of the order process

  • What is modern standby? Is it when it does not ship for another 2 months?

  • Looks pretty good for a cheap laptop.
    -Screen is FHD
    -Disk is NVMe

Downside is bad (1x1) wifi, and to a lesser extent soldered RAM.

    • Interesting to see the RAM is only DDR3 too so you can only add on an extra 8GB vs extra 16GB for DDR4

  • Beware that Inspirons usually have weak batteries. This one is 45w.
