Xiamen has a crazy sale on at present (see other deals listed in past day or so to Japan and other), and this is no exception.

Found on FlightScout, but their prices were showing higher. However maybe you could use their tool to find dates (https://www.flightscout.co/au/cheap-flights/melbourne-austra…) and then when you click through to skyscanner it's even cheaper.

(I know the coronavirus comments are coming, at least let's make them interesting ;))

    In all seriousness, its almost 52hrs travel time both ways including two very long stops in mainland China.

    Add to this that there's a huge likelihood that by mid March, any mainland departing flight from China will be either cancelled or you'd be quarantined in France for 2 weeks. Not worth a neg, but would be simply madness if anyone bought this deal.

      Holy crap dude! Possible exposure to a deadly virus, the possibility of 2 weeks in quarantine, and a 2 day ordeal for what should be 1 day's travel, and that isn't worth a neg?
