      Flip to around 7mins20 he compares 75t to the Sony (with the most recent firmware update).

      Interesting in that the Sony is now BETTER (previously it was worse) for noisy environments.

  • I purchased the Jabra 65t a while back for like 250 and I have to say they are the best sports earphones I've ever had. With the 75t at that price, it is a bargain.

  • Reviews look good, but apparently these have hissing issues when playing softer music/podcasts which is unacceptable at the price tag imo.

      Just tried listening to a high quality produced podcast (NPR's invisibilia) and had absolutely zero hissing even in the quiet moments when my headset was set to a high volume. Could be the users phone causing the issue, a faulty pair or more than likely the music track or podcast itself wasn't of great quality.

    • IIRC the hissing is present when hearthrough is enabled? disclaier: i'm going off what i heard in a review somewhere; I don't own these earphones.

        Tried again in HearThrough mode to confirm. Went into a quiet room so it wasn't picking up outside noise, turned HearThrough on while listening to the podcast and there's zero hiss.
        Moving into the lounge room where there is fan noise you can hear a slight hiss, but it's the mic's picking up ambient noise rather than the hiss you normally associate with poor headphones/connections.

        I know there was a firmware update I applied after purchasing a couple weeks ago, so maybe they fixed an earlier issue.

          • @asdf1: Yeah just tested with the volume at uncomfortably high levels and there's still zero hissing in either mode in a quiet room, and again with HearThrough turned on in the lounge room the hiss from before (the ambient noise) does not get any worse with the volume of the headphones turned right up.

            Honestly I expected at least a tiny bit of hissing as it's something I always associate with really high volumes, but it's silent.

  • I have the 75t the only downside is the call quality. Especially when you are at noisey places like trains and on commute the receiver cannot hear you. I always have to unpair my Jabra to call normally which defeats using the Jabra to for calls.

    • I hear variable reports about this - some people say it still works great in noisy environments

      • There are mic tests in Youtube compared to AirPods and this is definitely not as good as Airpod…

        I've used Bose QC35 and Airpods to talk on the train and can speak with normal talking voice and people can hear me…

            I think for business grade microphone in Jabra, get the Evolve series…

            Maybe indoor but not outdoor where any passing bluetooth users can cause you lose connections slightly…

            I also got a chance to test Bose Soundsport Free and got the same results… I still prefer the comfort of the Jabra though… but maybe just my ear shape cause some people are happy with Bose.

            Sound isolation is not as good as those active NC out there but enough to make feel scared walking around in them that i always turn on the HearThrough when walking around on the train platforms…

    • So I just got mine and made a couple of calls with a small amount of background noise and apparently the people on the other end could basically not understand me at all which is pretty lame.

      • Like I said! Confused why sources rated so high with call quality like youtuberd, did they do the testing properly???

        One source I found was accurate saying poor call quality

    Finally bought in, only to get the 'Delayed Shipping' message this morning from Qantas Store.
    Says only to be shipped by early March :(

  • I got a tracking number today but of course Toll tracking system is offline

    • Ok Toll called me this morning and I picked them up this evening.

      Firmware updated to version 1.25, they are noticeably lighter and more comfortable in my ears than the 65t, i have them in now and i can barely feel them. The sound quality is excellent. The charging case is also much improved it's much easier to open and the earbuds pop into place nicely with a magnetic snap.

      In summary I am stoked with these they are amazing value for $173 bucks.

      • Can you test the call quality for me? I just used them for a call and the people on the other end can barely hear me plus I get this tinny background noise on my end. Not sure if it's my phone or the buds.

      They attempted delivery of mine yesterday, but with Tolls system down there's no way to find out where it is or when I can get it.

    I placed the order before 9pm on 31 January and received the delivery this morning. Order was fulfilled by JB Hi-Fi Hurtsville. Qantas Store is still showing order as In Process with estimated delivery date of 10 February.

  • I've been using mine a few days now. Anyone else getting issues with random pops? Specfically with my Left Earbud will sometimes pop out of the music, then back in (under a second) once every 30 mins.

    Furthermore, when "Hearthrough" is enabled, they pop every few minutes of having the hearthrough and then not.

    Can I assume mine is faulty, and if so would JB-HiFi be able to swap/exchange with their invoice, or do I need to try and go through Qantas (and how would I do that?)

    I do see a glitch though. The much touted "auto-pause" feature is not working for me. Does anybody know how to enable the same from the app, or have I got a Lemon??

    Also, regardless of which earbud I remove from the ear, the App always shows Left earbud removed from the ear. Any idea?

      Tested this with mine and it's also behaving in the same way. Think this has something to do with the right earbud being the master earbud. Don't think it's a defect.

    I'm in Sydney and the delivery came from JB Hi-Fi Geelong.
    used it for a few hours and no issues so far. Sound quality is noticeably better than the Galaxy buds.

  • I've been using these for a few weeks. Not great for calls in crowded areas but overall they are excellent - great sound and comfortable.
